“Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; His going out is sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”
Hosea 6:3
It’s popping up everywhere you look. All over the deep south, there are subtle signs of spring! We have not had much of a winter here, so it seems like the seasons changed a little early on us. If you know me, you know I love color, so when springtime rolls around and color starts shining…it makes me a happy girl! Here at our house, our snowball bushes will be bursting into bloom soon and there are tiny pink flowers on our patio peach trees….I love looking out our kitchen door to see them! We all know that spring brings a little “happy” with the color and warmer temps, but it also brings a little variation in what goes on the table…both food and decor! Today, I hope you’ll relax and take a look at our round up of how we are bringing spring to the table!
Springtime and lemons go together in my opinion. My Mother’s Lemon Cheesecake recipe is my all-time favorite!
If you like shortbread, you will love these Lemon Rosemary Shortbread Cookies!
Lemon Cheesecake Mousse is perfect for a spring brunch!

Lemon bars are easy to make and so delicious!

With the bright spring-like colors, this tablescape is definitely Marching Into Spring!
Spring not only says lemon, but I also think of fresh egg dishes. My recipe for deviled eggs is basic because that is what the family likes, but I do add crumbled bacon…I think it adds flavor to any dish!
A foodie’s dream is this Duck Egg Ravioli with fresh ricotta and black truffles…amazing!
When Butch and I are traveling, we enjoy eating brunch. If Eggs Benedict are on the menu, I will always order them. These were absolute perfection at a little French bistro in Seattle last summer!
What is not to love about a Spring Veggie Breakfast Pizza with gruyere, pesto, and a baked egg on top?

A simple salad of asparagus, hard boiled egg, and bacon is tossed with a Dijon vinaigrette…definitely a salad for spring!

Our snowball bushes will be in bloom soon and they are the star of this simple and spring-y table!
Green peas sometime get a bad rap, but when they are fresh in the springtime, I love the flavor they add. Agnolotti with crawfish, Vidalia onions, and sweet peas was a delicious entree at Bottega!
An appetizer of Richard Olney scrambled farm eggs with croutons and asparagus is springtime on a plate!
A favorite dish that I prepare is bacon-wrapped roasted asparagus with a poached egg on top…delicious!
What a beautiful dish of Spring Vegetable Risotto with Proscuitto!

Since I love pasta, this Spring Vegetable Fettuccine with White wine sauce is a winner!

A simple spring tablescape starring the “peacock” pairing up with a turquoise and cobalt blue color scheme!
I love the idea of using carrots in a vase of fresh flowers for a touch of springtime!

I will definitely try using a cabbage to hold flowers…a springtime idea, for sure!

So many pretties Pam! We love deviled eggs. I’ve never added bacon, but will now. I have used a cabbage as a vase, and it’s fun! All of the dished look delicious. I’ve got to try making some of them. Hubby and I love good food as well. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
