“Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God”
Psalm 90:1-2
“I once was lost in darkest night, yet thought I knew the way. The sin that promised joy and life had led me to the grave. I had no hope that You would own a rebel to Your will
And if You had not loved me first I would refuse You still”
Jordan Kauflin
Something you don’t see everyday…a black squirrel!
Old Glory waving in front of another beautiful home in our historic district!
Now this is a gorgeous bouquet!
Isn’t Dowd the cutest Cat In The Hat?
Seared scallops over risotto…a perfect combination!
Pansies are supposed to be blooming the first of March, but not tulips!
I love the sign in front of my friends’ store in our historic downtown, “the more you weigh, the harder you are to kidnap. Stay safe, EAT CAKE!”
We always love finding barns for Simple + Southern Sunday!
“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!'”
Psalm 122:1

Beautiful tulips. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black squirrel until now. This week’s Dr. Seuss activities at school sure have been fun. And, who wants to be easy to kidnap? Count me in for cake! Ha!

Kim, I had never seen a black squirrel, either! Bring on the cake…have a wonderful week!

Dolores
Pam, one day late because I’m in Granada with my daughter and I have not had free time to comment. Now that they have gone to work and to school here I am to say something.
I think the protagonist of this Sunday has been the black squirrel … then the very cute girl and for me the scallops.
Why scallops? Because I was born in Galicia and is the typical seafood of Galicia along with the barnacles.
It brought me the image of my mother who was Galician … I am also born in Galicia.
A hug
Dolores

Dolores, estoy tan feliz de que estés de visita con tu hija. Las vieiras son un marisco favorito de la mía, también! ¡Deseándole una semana del amor y de la risa con su familia hermosa! Abrazos, Pam
Dolores, I am so happy you are visiting with your daughter. Scallops are a favorite seafood of mine, also! Wishing you a week of love and laughter with your beautiful family! Hugs, Pam

I’ve never seen a black squirrel before. It is fun to learn new things. Loving the tulips and Bradford pear trees blooming with the promise of more spring flowers to come. Good looking plate of scallops and risotto that I could easily enjoy eating.
Your Sunday post always speak to me and rest my soul.

Bonnie, thanks for commenting again, I had never seen a black squirrel, Butch says they are not common, but he has seen them while hunting! Happy Monday!

Thanks so much, Jann. We are now having freezing temps, I am afraid it will nip all the beautiful blooms!
