“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
Isaiah 26:3-4
Happy Tuesday dear friends…I hope you are having a great week so far. A couple of years ago, Butch and I visited the British Isles…Scotland, Wales, England, and Ireland. While in Ireland we spent a day in the city of Waterford, famous for its exquisite crystal. Of course, we had to take time to visit the factory and the showroom. I am digging back into the archives to share a tablescape that was presented in their sparkling showroom. You can see the original post here and read a little of the history of the House of Waterford Crystal. Be sure to read to the bottom of the post to find out the winner of Chef Frank Stitt’s cookbook, “Bottega Favorita”.

A large 72 inch table set with sparkling crystal, fine china, and sterling silver. I wouldn’t have a clue how much this would cost, but obviously thousands. We can always enjoy looking!

Notice the symbol of Waterford is a seahorse!

Vera Wang “Grosgrain” by Wedgwood! The bone china is inspired by the subtle romantic touches that Wang uses to trim her world-famous bridal gowns! The platinum border trim is reminiscent of delicate needle lace.

I love these candle holders and should have bought them!
The ceiling above the table was mirrored so Butch just had to get a photo of me using my iPhone to snap the Tablescape!
The acrylic chairs gave a modern vibe!

The celadon green accents are perfection with all the crystal!
The wow factor – Waterford crystal chandelier! A chandelier is the jewelry of a room!
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver”
Proverbs 25:11
Thank you for your visits and now for the winner of the cookbook. Congratulations to Patti at Old Things New! I will be emailing you!

Jenna, the showroom was unbelievable!
This would be the first place I visited if I went to Ireland! Love Waterford, especially their Lismore pattern but really, I’ve never seen one I didn’t like. You must have been in seventh heaven! Love everything about this — the glass, the chairs, the table, the candlesticks. SIGH! (Yay, Patti!)
Thanks so much, I agree Jeanie, I have never seen Waterford that I didn’t like!
Beautiful elegant settings!
Yes, it was a lot of crystal, but stunning!
Pam, what beautiful tablescapes! I bet it was a wonderful trip! That chandelier is stunning! I hope you are enjoying your week! Happy Tuesday!
Thanks and it is so good to hear from you, Shannon. Hope you are getting settled I to your new home!
HI Pam, I loved this post! Of course, partly because we used to have several pieces of Waterford, but they were destroyed in the Loma Pieta earthquake. The second reason is that two years ago we were in Ireland to see my grandparents roots and place of birth. We toured this incredible place and hoped to get a couple of pieces to replace what we lost, but didn’t do to how expensive they were. We did get a Christmas ornament. Spent a good deal of money at Belleek Pottery. Thanks for sharing and bringing back my memories.
Hugs,
Noreen
Noreen we were in Ireland two summers ago! So sorry that you lost your Waterford in the earthquake. Hugs, Pam

It was a beautiful showroom, Judy!
I treasure the few pieces of Waterford that I have, especially my rose bowl and decanter! Your pictures certain captured the lovely designs in the crystal!
Thanks Patti, it was a stunning showroom!
Oh, Pam! I do love Waterford crystal! I swear I can spot a piece across a crowded room in a glass warehouse. (I have been known to use that skill at auctions.). Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos.
Susan, you have a wonderful eye to spot a piece of Waterford…the crystal is truly stunning! Happy Weekend!
Stunning showroom! I drooled on every pic, but I specially love one great flower vase. The chinas are gorgeous too. The ghost chairs are my passion; hope to get one at least for an accent piece.
Thanks for sharing.
Fabby
Fabby, I also love the ghost chairs. They are definitely stunning!
Stunning store that they would have to have a bed for me, because I’d never want to leave!
It was hard to leave!
