“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 1:6
Happy Monday dear friends, and welcome to a week full of Fall inspired fun! If you are here for the first time, welcome to my little corner of the blog world otherwise known as Everyday Living! Today I am joining a group of talented bloggers to bring you a Fall Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by Chloe at Celebrate & Decorate…be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom to see the full line up! Since my favorite season is soon approaching, I am so excited to kick this week off in the garden with a box of autumn!
Autumn’s colors invite you to the table to stay and linger in celebration of the season!
Spode “woodland” dinner plates are the perfect autumn pattern. Each plate has a different bird…you’ll see the pheasant on this one. American Atelier “baroque” chargers and tortoise flatware add to each place setting.
What says autumn better than sparkling apple cider in a copper cup?! You’ll also notice stemware in shades of peridot, amethyst, and amber… my go-to for fall!
Feather placemats with their soft texture often grace my autumn tables!
Searching through my table linens, I found this tablecloth I had completely forgotten about. Am I the only one who does that?
The centerpiece is packed full of flowers and clippings from the garden…sunflowers, hydrangeas, nandina, zinnias, angelonias, and purple fountain grass plumes! My Renaissance Man arranged it beautifully in a wooden box. You can see how I have used the box here and here.
Amber napkin rings hold gold linen napkins!
“…I cannot endure to waste anything so precious as autumnal sunshine by staying in the house. So I have spent almost all the daylight hours in the open air.”
Nathaniel Hawthorne
Autumn calls for all things pumpkin including Butch’s great-aunt’s pumpkin bread recipe!
A pair of faux antler candle stands seem perfect as deer are constantly in our pasture!
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.” Proverbs 25:11
“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower”
Albert Camus
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
There are subtle hints that the days of summer are waning and autumn will soon arrive in all of its glory!
I am so grateful for your visits and comments. It is my hope that you are inspired to set the table and invite family and friends to celebrate the beauty of autumn!

(Ps I have Spode’s Woodland too ?)
Thank you, Donna!
Such a lovely table in your garden setting nestled among the grasses.I’m glad you found that tablecloth because it has perfect colors for your Spode woodland dishes. Your soft feathery placemats and gold linen napkins are complimented by the most versatile wooden box used as a centerpiece. It is so gratifying I think to be able to pick flowers straight from your garden for your centerpiece. Butch did a great job.
I am eagerly anticipating fall and its show of autumn color. Love the quote,”Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower.”
Thank you Bonnie, it has been a wonderful blog Hop! I really loved yours!
Just beautiful Pam! It’s always a pleasure to have a seat at your table and I love all your autumnal details from your gorgeous tablecloth, Spode Woodland plates, and stunning centerpiece box! Ooh, Pam, so pretty! My favorite things, no order: the pheasant placemats, the stemware, and the centerpiece floral arrangement (yay Butch!). And yes, I definitely do the same with linens, but my excuse is I am a dealer, lol.

Pam, what a lovely way to start my day! So pretty! Fall is also my favorite season. Here in Lilburn GA this morning, it’s cool and windy and a little cloudy. My back door is open and my wind chimes are playing a beautiful symphony. The hummers are filling up and getting fat for their trip south. I will miss them, they have been a source of joy all summer. Thank you for your inspiration!
Martha, your morning sounded wonderful! Thanks for your faithful sweet visits! Blessings~

Oh, so pretty and very representative of this season I adore! Yes, I’ve forgotten a time or two that I have a certain piece until I see it there on the pages of my home decor catalog! (I created that computer catalog about 10 years ago to keep up with everything. Old age plus sheer volume…no way I can remember everything!!!) Your tablecloth has a cheerful feel to it with those meandering fall-colored vines. Just perfect to welcome the season! You’ve included such detail in your presentation…something I truly appreciate and admire. From the rustic nature of the floral box to the rockin’ Spode to the cider in those fabulous copper mugs…just so pretty in a gorgeous setting! VERY nicely done!!! Have a good weekend, and happy creating!!!
