Most observers agree the view from Mt. Cheaha is Alabama’s most spectacular, and it is the highest point in the state.
Barns have their own special and unique character. Imagine the stories if barns could talk!
Autumn refuses to fade as evidenced in blazing orange!
We wonder if our great-nephews reached a unanimous decision on picking a Christmas tree?
A most unusual narrow band of fog moved across our pasture early Friday morning!
The fog was short-lived and seemed to be posing for a few pics!
Getting a close up view of Little River!
A few of our beautiful “white unto harvest” cotton fields are still awaiting the pickers!
Making preparations…let the decorating begin!

Pam, as always a beautiful post, and one I always enjoy on a Sunday morning.
I love fog and it often does move quickly. It is so beautiful to see it in the morning stretched across the fields or meadows. And, you know that cotton field makes my heart happy.
Love seeing your Christmas bulbs – we have some of the exact ornaments in the same boxes. They are treasures.
Have a wonderful week and enjoy the season !

Beautiful! I just love to see photos of nature, especially when it’s something we don’t see around these parts. I’ve seen cotton when traveling in the South, but never from this vantage point where one is looking across the field. God sure blesses us with so much right there for free!!! As for barns, they hold a VERY special place in my heart as we have MANY of them here in the Midwest and each has its own story to tell.

Alycia, thank you for every visit and your sweet comments!
