“Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly…
…But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit…
She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:…
…“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

I would not like a CHRISTMAS to past without reading Luke 2:1-20. It look the lowest form of life to spread the good news of JESUS Christ birth. Shepards watching over their flocks. Jesus, the Good Shepard looks over his children and as the sheep, we only I listen HIS voice.
Know you had a great time with friends at the concert. While in NC, my sister, cousin and my husband and I attended the Messiah ballet in Raleigh It was so beautiful and the voices were heavenly. Love all of your post, but this one is my favorite. Merry Christmas to you and Butch.

Joseph was a very Godly and courageous man. Both he and Mary were led by the Holy Spirit. He plays a very significant role in this story. Your pics are lovely..you know how I love the faces of children. These boys are so handsome. Glad to see you out with friends enjoying yourself and I know you enjoyed the concert. The picture of downtown is really beautiful. Blessings to you and your entire family. Much love

I’m glad you are attending concerts and enjoying music this Christmas. Beautiful scriptures to cherish and lovely photos.
I haven’t been in the Alabama Theatre in many years. Love the tall building all decorated for Christmas, the yummy dessert and the kids pictures. The moon shot is fabulous. I tried to capture it but failed. To be able to see it we viewed from the golf course and lake but the camera picked up the houses Christmas lights reflecting off the water.
After an event at my house last week and traveling to Huntsville I am ready to rest today. Hope you can too.

Very beautiful photo with your sweet friends, I love to see people happy.
We have the Christmas date at the door, I go to Granada on the 22nd with my daughter Almudena and her family to celebrate Christmas all together. I love being with my two daughters, my four grandchildren and my two sons-in-law who are also two more children … they are adorable.
Merry Christmas, dear friends Pam and Butch, the God who will be born again in our hearts will fill us with joy and happiness and the new year will bring new airs of Peace, Concord, Charity and Love.
