“Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!”
Psalms 57:11
Hello sweet friends and welcome to another edition of Floral Friday! I am joining my talented blogging friends Shirley, Mary, and Lidy to bring you loads of flower therapy and inspiration! You will find us here on the first and third Friday of each month, and this week you will see so much spring! Be sure to stop in and see their beautiful designs, linked at the bottom of my post. Now come inside for a “basket of spring”!
I just love the colors of spring, don’t you?!
The Fitz and Floyd rabbit decided to come off the book shelf to join in the fun. This little pitcher has been with me longer than I can remember!
I was so excited to see the blush roses tinged in pink.
A basket from Hobby Lobby (50% off) is filled with the colors of spring! Yellow tulips, pastel blue hydrangeas, blush roses, bridal wreath (aka shoe button) spirea, and fortunately there was still some forsythia blooming!
My plans were to be outdoors for this Floral Friday, but forty degree temperatures and twenty five mile an hour winds threw a wrinkle in that plan. I decided to move my arrangement from the dining table to the family room coffee table for a few photos, just a change of scenery, I guess!
I won’t normally be doing an elaborate arrangement like this, (whew…a lot of time and effort) but Easter is a favorite time at our house as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection!
Early morning light and some mini Cadbury eggs snuck onto the table…I might have enjoyed a few!
I decided to move it back to the dining room. The small rabbit to the left holds a special place in my heart, my precious mother made it many years ago!
Thank you so much for your visits and the sweet comments that you leave. Be sure to visit each one of the creative ladies that are listed below. They never disappoint!

Gorgeous Pam! Your arrangement is beautiful in all your settings but I especially love getting a peek into your family room…those drapes, swoon! I love your addition of your willowy forsythia sprigs~ they add such a graceful garden touch to your basket arrangement paired with the hydrangeas, roses and tulips. Adorable Fitz & Floyd bunny pitcher and wee bunny your mother made too! We had 40 mph lake winds yesterday, the screened porch looked a war zone. I had to batten down the hatches! Thank you for floral inspiration this morning. It’s always a pleasure blog hopping with you.♥
Oh my goodness, Pam, this is so beautiful. The basket find is perfect to hold such beautiful flowers. I love it sitting in front of your green sofa with the pillows that are perfectly matched. Fitz and Floyd rabbit a treasure but little one made by your Mother carries even deeper meaning. Beautiful! I don’t know when I have seen such a beautiful combination.
You are so sweet, Dianne. Wishing you a joy-filled weekend!
Your arrangement is a beautiful breath of Spring, Pam. It looks beautiful in both rooms. I love rabbits, and the one your mother made is a precious treasure. Yesterday I decided to mow grass for 3 hours in all that wind. I thought I was going to be blown off the mower! Hope you all have a good weekend with no gall bladder attacks.
Thank you Roxanne, March always gives us the unexpected. I hope we escape any gall bladder attacks this weekend. Blessings~
Wow, Pam! Your effort certainly paid off. That is a beauty, and I love all the wild extensions of the flowers!

Thank you dear Katie. It is warming up for some more rain, but I am not complaining!
I adore your arrangement. The wispy airy effect with favorite spring flowers in a basket with mossy touches brightened my morning. Your Fitz and Floyd pitcher and compote of candy eggs with your mother’s bunny added a special accent. Spirea, forsythia, roses, hydrangeas and tulips are so lovely together! I love how you placed it in various locations. Such a treat!
Thanks you Bonnie…enjoy time with your grands!
