“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
Bees absolutely love the chaste tree blooms!
Seems we’ve had some decent rains lately but Noccalula Falls doesn’t agree.
Mimosas always say “summer is here”.
Homemade potato chips with charred onion dip at Bottega Cafe!
This Tree of Heaven is preparing to produce hundreds of seeds as this is only one of many “blooms”!
The Tree of Heaven grows fast and is considered by most people to be invasive, however it is a very interesting plant!
Elderberry is a late spring early summer bloomer and is readily seen along roadsides this time of year.
The gorge below Noccalula Falls was peaceful and quiet on this day!
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.
Hebrews 13:8

Sweet princess in the perfect dress. Wish crepe myrtle could grow here and mimosas as they are among my favorites. The Lane going to my grandmothers house was lined with mimosas on both sides when we grands were growing up. They served as perfect trees to climb for our short legs. Ah memories. Enjoy this day the Lord has made.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Alice, I climbed mimosa trees when I was a child! Fun memories! Have a great week dear friend!

Happy Sunday. Looks like some great family time at Noccalula Falls. Interesting Tree of Heaven tree. I recognize the roadside Elderberry but did not know its name. Your chaste tree photo with the bee is so pretty. Mimosas are pretty but best viewed away from home as they are messy and invasive.
Look forward to Gardens Galore tomorrow.

Thank you Bonnie. I am looking forward to seeing the French Garden!

Good Morning, Pam. All such lovely summer photos. My favorite of course, dear Ella Mae. This photo of her is a treasure. And, I love the one of the bee and the chaste tree blooms. So pretty.

Hi Pam, today I was impressed by the quotes from the letters of St. Paul to the Ephesians. Always Paul is very special and with great faith in Jesus, he who had persecuted him so much … This is life …
A few months ago, the movie “Paul, Apostle Crist” was released, an excellent example of how Pablo was, and today you show us some quotes from his letters. Excellent!!.
As excellent are the images of Ella Mae superbella, the waterfall of Noccalula always beautiful even without almost water … And the crunchy fries … I love potatoes !!!!!
Actually the ones that I love are you, your humor, your surroundings, your simplicity …
A big hug, friends

Hi Pam,
Again, beautiful photos! I love the water, it’s so significant of summer and an important element of our faith as a source of life and an image of renewal, promise and hope. Love the flowers too 🙂

Great photos, but the baby is the best.
Your gorge looks like our Tarra river as it comes down from the ranges, only ours has tree ferns there. Very serene and you see the Creator’s hand.
U R blessed to have a waterfall in town! Have to go out in the car to see ours.
Pam @ Everyday Living says

I love to visit the Falls when I am able to return home. Each time I go it seems to keep changing and improving. When I grew up in Gadsden there use to tennis courts across the street from Jack’s and they use to have a lion you could see.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
I have been to the Falls twice in the past few weeks. It is beautiful and well kept!
