Very nice photographs, it gives me a view of your world. The pizza looks delicious. Lantana is banned here as it escapes into “the Bush” (the native vegetation), and takes over.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Cath. Lantana is basically an annual here. We do have a little patch that returns each year in our front courtyard!

What beautiful pictures, dear Pam, what elegance …
The photo of the planted land is super good. You really live in a very beautiful place, but all this is not done alone, of course, the hand of The Man of the Renaissance (Butch) is definitive to achieve these results. My congratulations and a big hug … Ah! I forgot the pizza … it must be delicious!

Abrazos, Pam

Good morning Pam! Such beauty pictured, as always. Where was the bluebird nest? We have bluebird nesting boxes, so I’ve never actually seen the eggs in the nest! Traveling back home to S.C. today from a weeklong visit in Sarasota, FL with my darling 93 y.o. mother-in-law.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Safe travels Roxanne, hope your trip was wonderful! The nest was in our paper box. We stopped receiving the paper a few months ago, but the box is still up. They always try to build in it, but Butch wouldn’t let them. He had no idea the nest was full of eggs, 7 is a large number. He hated that he had removed it. The blue birds have been relentless building nests in our pergola this year and making a terrible mess everywhere. But we do love to watch their activity. Happy Sunday!
Roxanne says
We put up 3 nesting boxes and haven’t had any problems since then. I got them at our local feed and seed, they were made by a local man and have latches so I can clean them out every February. I always hold my breath there won’t be a snake inside when I open the little door!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Finding a snake in the nesting box would be a problem?
Sandra at Maison De Jardin says
Oh, Pam this is a glorious post this morning! Every photo is better than the one before. You do have magic with sunsets! Your area is truly beauty at every turn. I so look forward to your Sunday post!
Wishing you a most lovely day, stay cool!

Thank you sweet friend. It appears today’s will be another scorcher!

Seven eggs is a large number! Sounds like you need some blue bird boxes near enough to see them but not in your space.
I had eggs in my box this year that were abandoned and I found out there were ants in the box. I found them before we left on my trip and made a picture of the nest with eggs. When I got back the eggs were gone with no evidence they were ever there. It is a mystery to me what happened to them. No egg shells or anything.I’ve only had one brood of babies raised from my box several years ago. I don’t have a wide open space like they like.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Hi Bonnie. The blue birds have been relentless with their nesting in our pergola and what a mess they make. I clean the patio twice a day some days. Butch placed a faux owl up there and they just go and sit next to him. Happy Sunday sweet friend!

You have given us another Sunday filled with beauty and Thanksgiving to our great Creator. I am so envious of your bluebirds even though they are messy. They are such family oriented birds. I don’t think I have the space they like. I do have my box near the fence row. I hope you might get to watch them teach the little ones to fly…quite the show. Special blessings to you my friend. You have made a difference in my life!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Dianne, you are definitely an encourager and a blessing sweet friend! Wishing you a joy-filled week❤️
