“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
John 14:27
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
Isaiah 26:3
Great place for a Saturday morning walk!
Crepe Myrtle, southern, and summer combine for a beautiful display. This is our favorite color!
This Southern Magnolia seed pod seems to be well on its way to producing quite a few seeds!
From the Simple Southern Sunday swimsuit edition.
We didn’t notice anyone under the boardwalk!
You can always count on the Rose of Sharon to provide gorgeous blooms.
The bark of the Sycamore is unusual and interesting and the leaves can get very large also.
The white Crepe Myrtle is radiant and our white ones always blooms before the other colors.
It would probably be shocking to know the total number of vehicles that have passed above these arches over the years.
A peaceful morning by the Coosa.

I’m sitting on my porch, watching the sun come over our pond. There is total silence except for the hummingbirds. It is the most peaceful spot in my world. And now I read your opening Bible verse. My world is now perfect today. Thank you for ministering to my senses with your photography and also to my soul. May the peace of the Lord always be with you too, dear Pam.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Roxanne. I have been studying and preparing to teach this morning. God cares about our worries and anxieties and we can know peace through Him. Thank you for your sweet message this morning.

Your post is always my Sunday morning treat, always full of God’s beauty. This one is no exception. I always have my favorite photos and of course it is your entry for the “Swimsuit Edition,” and the sunset. As I have said many times before, “You are magical with sunsets.”
Wishing you and your family a beautiful day!

Thank you sweet friend. Wishing you a joy-filled Sunday❤️

Swimsuits by Eela Mae should be in Vogue!
I am a tree person. The sycamore is a favorite as i have a memory of it. My sister had acne as a teenager. Nothing would help and when my grandmother learned mother had tried everything she told my mother to get sycamore bark and make a tea and have my sister drink it. Sure enough the acne went away and all of the scars. It’s better than any modern day medicine. Can’t say it taste very good but it works.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear friend! I just read your comments to Butch about the sycamore bark for acne. We have never heard that before, but what an interesting use for the bark. I always love for you to share your memories with us. Wishing you a joy-filled Sunday!
Alice says
Mother took the bark of the tree and brewed it into a tea. It’s bitter but works really well.

Where do I begin to comment? … Everything is so beautiful …
Maybe I have to say that the sycamore tree fascinates me, its bark is impressive, it looks like a watercolor …
Ella Mae looks great in her swimsuit and I’m surprised how old she is …
Today there is much to meditate through your photos: the psalms and the beauty of nature that you show us are sufficient reasons.
The last image is simply spectacular …
A good Sunday of summer, you can see the lack of people who have already gone on vacation. The church was 50% of the people who usually go to that same time and that is a sign.
A hug

Hola Dolores! Bendiciones y abrazos, Pam

It is soothing to my soul to see your amazing photos! I have to agree with the commenter above me ~ I think my favorite photo is the one of the tree. It makes me think of Zaccheus climbing up the trunk to get up high enough to see Jesus. He was greatly rewarded for his effort by Jesus coming to his house ~ what an honor that must have been! Thank you for another charming and comforting post, my friend!

Thank you dearest Cheryl❤️

One thing I do miss about being in Houston this time of year is the crepe myrtles that bloom no matter how how it is. I wish I looked as cute in a swim suit as Ella Mae.

Haha, me too! Thanks Linda!

Beautiful post yesterday. Love seeing Ella Mae in her swimsuit. Thank you for the scripture that spoke to my heart. I hope Connie saw this one. She has a close friend that lost their daughter in a tragic car accident. She is extremely close with this family. Rachael Silver was in medical school..beautiful wonderful girl. A large 18 wheeler did not stop and hit two cars. Your scripture was filled with promise of God’s love.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Oh Dianne, how very tragic and heartbreaking. Prayers of comfort and peace for this family.
Thank you sweet friend!❤️
