“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.””
Isaiah 41:13
Happy Tuesday lovely friends! I hope your week is off to a good start. Our humidity is down a little which makes being outside more enjoyable, especially since I need to weed in the garden. As a reminder, I will be hosting Gardens Galore next Monday, July 16.
I love Tablescaping in the garden when there is so much in bloom. Please pull up a chair and pour yourself a glass of iced tea and join me for a table dressed in simplicity!
If you love simplicity, then this table is for you.
The muted floral tablecloth was a TJ Maxx find in early spring.
I layered hyacinth place mats over the cloth for a little texture…white dinner plates are my everyday dishes.
You may remember I found the bottle centerpiece in Highlands, NC on our anniversary get away back in February.
I filled the bottles with crepe myrtle blooms, how simple. Tip: Bottles are the easiest way to arrange flowers for a centerpiece.
White and fuchsia blooms were cut for the table. I must tell you that the bottle centerpiece was sitting on the kitchen counter when our son walked in. When he saw it the flowers had not been added, but there was water in the bottles. He seriously asked if we were doing a lab experiment!! Without flowers it does look like it belongs in a 10th grade chemistry class! Haha, he loves to tease me.
I love the early evening sunlight and shadows.
The stemware is vintage Fostoria, I don’t know the pattern…
…does anyone know? These were a gift many years ago.
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”
Proverbs 25:11
The twig flatware is called Arbor and is from Pier 1.
As always, I love your visits and the comments that you leave! Wishing you a beauty-filled day!

Pam, this is so lovely. I always find simplicity to be beautiful and your table certainly is. The bottle centerpiece is so pretty and your choice of blooms is perfect. Your Fostoria is lovely and was probably made here in West Virginia – Moundsville. The pattern looks quite familiar to me, I will see if I can find the name.
Have a beautiful week and stay cool!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Sandra. How sweet of you to check on the Fostoria pattern. Have a lovely Tuesday!

The crepe myrtles have been outstanding this year, must be all the rain. The bees are going crazy over the blossoms! The shadows in your garden are lovely, and the Fostoria glassware looks so beautiful and delicate. Since I spent 40+ years toiling away in a lab, I’ve always been particularly fond of lab glassware. It can be very, very expensive so grab any you see in flea markets!! All of it is perfect for flower arranging.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Our crepe Myrtles on our driveway look better than the past several years. 40+ years in a lab is a long time. Thank you dear friend and have a beautiful day!

Lovely table. I’m fond of etched stemware. It really speaks to me. Your garden setting is so pretty and peaceful and your new tablecloth looks perfect with your crepe myrtles in the background and in your centerpiece.
I have a similar vase that I like that is easy to add stems. I haven’t used in a long time. Need to pull that out.
Have a lovely day.

Thank you dear Bonnie, wishing you a lovely day!

You had me at late evening shadows which I love and then your garden in full bloom! All of it is God sent to His children to enjoy. Can you imagine Him thinking up every bloom and their perfume? What an awesome Heavenly Father we have. Beautiful Pam.

Hello Pam, how beautiful, how refreshing today, the atmosphere you have prepared for us, I love it … It’s really elegant.
Sharing beautiful things is one of the most rewarding actions.
I see that we also share the immense concern of the case of the children trapped in the cave in Thailand. I think lately I have not prayed as much as for those children and their monitor. Pleasantly I have seen how many specialists have presented magnificent solutions that have been able to carry out the tremendous task of getting them out of that hell. God was with them … do not doubt it.
Blessings
Dolores

I always enjoy having a seat at a table in your garden Pam! I love the simplicity of the crepe myrtle blooms in the bottles. Your etched Fostoria goblets are so pretty along with your tablecloth and perfect for a table in the garden. The weather has been wonderful but starting to warm back up. It was nice to have a reprieve the heat and humidity over the weekend. Looking forward to seeing you Monday at GG. ♥

It has been in the low nineties today, humidity is still not as bad. Looking forward to seeing you at Gardens Galore on Monday❤️

What a beautiful patio setting. I love the softness of this tablescape. I have the same tablecloth, but used it in a much different way. There are so many options, but I truly believe you created a masterpiece with it, especially with the lovely pink and white bottle vase flower holder. Beautifully done.
