“My speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power…
…so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
We wonder how many more years this old oak will hold up to the elements. These roots have seen a lot of seasons come and go.
A setting that appears remote yet right near downtown!
It seems all butterflies are fond of zinnias.
Easy to see where the name vanilla strawberry comes from!
A peep hole sized just right for the afternoon sun.
We love these grasses but this year with more rain they are taking over!
Wading probably feels very refreshing on a hot August day!
Another awesome sunset from Katy. We’ve named her the official “Sunset Queen”
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Great photos and the baby has very pretty eyelashes. Do you know what the crop is in the top picture?
We had to cut down some dead fruit trees today (sob.)

Thank you Cath. Our son did the aerial photo of corn fields at sunrise!?

Another beautiful Sunday, Pam. Such beauty to begin the day. Precious Ella Mae is certainly pondering something. I have always believed children see the tiniest things which adults pass over. Your grasses are gorgeous. In Va. they would burn them to the ground around Oct. to keep them in hand. It seems they do love water, heat, and humidity. I hope you will be able to enjoy your old oak for many more years, such a magnificent tree. And, I have to mention the glorious sunset – there are really no words. God paints the most beautiful pictures for us to enjoy!
Thank you for all you do and the beauty to bring to the world. Have a lovely day, dear friend!

Such serene, beautiful photos for Sunday morning. Just wonder what Ella Mae might be thinking? Thought I saw a cardinal in the tree where the sun was shining through. Blessings.

The corn field picture reminds me of the 350 acre corn field across the road at our farm in SD. This years they’ve had so much rain that my sweetie could not reach the top of the corn. It’s at least 9 feet tall. Beautiful pictures Pam. Is Miss Ella Mae deciding if she wants her picture taken? Love every one you post. Have a blessed day.

Oh, those photos! Just breathtaking!!! My favorites today (and it was hard to pick!) are the one of little Em and her deep-in-thought facial expression and the one of the sun peeking through the trees. As always, your photos take my breath away. The photo of Ella Mae belongs somewhere big — a cataloge, a book cover, something. It is one of the most beautiful child portraits I’ve ever seen.

Jeanie, what a lovely compliment. I will have to do that!
