“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””
Matthew 28:18-20
Another magnificent display of color just before sunrise!
The goldenrod is now “showing off” along the roadsides and field edges. This one is backdropped by the white bark of a Sycamore.
Several varieties of goldenrod grace our countryside so we see them bloom from August through November and even December in a mild fall.
Our first pumpkin of this season.
We never tire of the different views and seasonal changes we witness along the nearby Coosa River!
If you are counting calories, this dessert is not the best choice!
We have experienced a rainy week, especially for September. It has been good for the local mushrooms however.
A little further downstream for us …..
You’ve seen our first pumpkin and now the first mum. It’s not autumn until you have a yellow mum!
This old structure has probably seen a lot of cotton fields ready for harvest like the one in the background.
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Have a great Sunday! Our goldenrods are pretty now also. Your sunrise and sunset pictures are so pretty. I was looking at sunset pictures yesterday and your last picture looks like some I got over the Rhine River when it was threatening rain. Every sunrise and sunset thrills me.
I’ve been up early enjoying the moon this morning. The heavens do declare the glory of God!

Ah, Pam – that sunset. It is truly one for your book. Love all the photos as I always do. The dear church is so lovely – such a reminder of love and joy for everyone to see. You are ahead of me, I don’t have any pumpkins yet, it has been so warm. Hope to fix that this week.
Dear friend, sending you and your family wishes for a day of beauty and joy.
