“But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.”
Psalms 59:16
The Chapel of the Sacred Heart was built in 1937. Teton County, Wyoming near Jackson Lake!
The stained glass window was beautiful from the inside and offers a very interesting reflection of the surroundings as it is observed from the outside.
The aspens were at their peak last week in Jackson Hole.
This willow bog covers thousands of acres and is a rich feeding area for a lot of wildlife including grizzly bears. Mt. Moran with it’s glaciers are in the background!
Ella Mae loved her new shirt from Jackson Hole and had to put it on immediately. She insisted on the boots too so I guess she was expecting rain!
A pretty nice bull moose with a cow and calf. We saw this group several times near the Murie ranch.
Our world is in constant change. This old tree had graced this spot near the Snake River for a long time but finally had to give it up!
The variation in color found in aspens is an interesting topic. Why do some have a red/orange color instead of the more common yellow? Some experts say genetics, others say weather, and it is also thought that some could be related to the amount of bark that is impacted by wildlife on some trees.
An amuse-bouche… A single, bite sized hors d’oeuvre compliments of the chef!
The log structures with green roofs reminded us of childhood playing with our “Lincoln Logs”. Did any of you have Lincoln Logs?
Very rugged terrain as seen from the Tram at Teton Village!
Meeting halfway up the mountain, the tram is about a 12 minute ride each way. The scenery from the top is awesome. The rise from the village is over 4,000 feet. It will take your breath away in more ways than one!
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Mrs Wolf- “Where have you been, you’re late again! Did you even get the fish I asked you to bring home?”
Mr Wolf- “ Sorry honey, I got stuck in the office again”.
Mrs Wolf -“What a stick in the mud! You’d think you worked in a bog or something! I will have to call for pizza.”

Wonderful photos! Pam, that tram ride is what we took to the top of the 10,000′ peak to paraglide off the back side of the mountain at Jackson Hole!
Ella Mae’s turning into a fashionista with her matching boots to t-shirt! ♥
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Rita, you are amazing to be paragliding! I thought I was brave start skiing years ago!

What a fun trip. I love the moose and told my husband they look like God used all the left overs from other animals to make them. It is a place where you know you are in the wild Wild West!
Miss Ella Mae is growing like a weed and wouldn’t you know she would follow in her grandmom’s steps and become a well put together young lady.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Alice, I enjoy seeing the moose, but I totally agree they do look like God used all the left overs from other animals to make them. Thank you for your faithful visits.

Gorgeous scenery! The aspens are so lovely. We could see the golden glow of aspens in September in Fairbanks but sadly it was a very short window of time each fall. That was very interesting about why some are orange. I did not know that.
Seeing the moose brought back more memories of Alaska for me. I went to an army coffee once by myself miles from town and was afraid to get out of the car because a moose was grazing in the hostess yard. I had to wait for him to move on.This was before cell phones.
Glad you had a great trip. So nice to enjoy seeing some of the things you experienced.
Ella Mae is adorable. How fun to pick out a cute t-shirt for her.

Thank you Bonnie. We had a wonderful trip, but glad to be back home.

Glorious photos, Pam. I do love the Aspen trees. Yes, I had Lincoln Logs, maybe that explains our building a log home in VA. Ella Mae is simply lovely in her pink shirt and boots. By the way, pink is so pretty on her, it lights up her precious face.
Pam, your tram ride and view at over 4,000 feet had to be spectacular. I do know it would have truly taken by breath away. I will be quite happy imagining how beautiful it was. Lovely photos and so happy you had a beautiful trip. Happy day to you, my friend.

Thank you Pam for such lovely pictures! We live just over the Pass on the Idaho side…
That’s so interesting as to why Aspens may be different colors!
Your darling granddaughter looks so cute in her little pink moose shirt and her pink boots!

Thank you for sharing this beauty with us. I would have taken the Tram ride but it would probably have taken my breath away. So happy you had such a great trip. We must keep doing these things even in the busyness of life. Now to the most important thing…the beautiful Ella Mae with those amazing eyelashes and smile. Love her boots to match her new shirt. Precious, oh, so precious!

Jackson Hole was fun! Loved the antler arches into the park. We stayed on the edge of Teton Village and loved hearing the moose.Fun riding the tram & rafting on the SnakeRiver. Our favorite was the beautiful Teaton Mts. and the HUGE grizzly that ran out in front of our car!

Dear Pam, you show us magnificent photos of those magical places. Autumn with all its splendor of color … It’s simply magnificent!
The Sacred Heart chapel is beautiful. I like rustic buildings very much and this is very beautiful. This style of construction gives me a feeling of welcome, back to the simple, authentic … really loving.
I do not forget Ella Mae, that would be impossible. Every day is more beautiful, what a beautiful picture! I also realize that he knows how to pose … hahahaha is a professional photo!
A big hug to everyone.

Hola Dolores, gracias dulce amiga. Abrazos y bendiciones, Pam
