“Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.”
Psalms 147:1
After a clear start to the morning, a fog rolled in off the river and created a most unusual glow!
The fog continued drifting west, diffusing the light to create a beautiful start to our day.
Maybe another member of the eat more chicken movement!
This is our prettiest and most favorite “pumpkin”.
The Sunshine Ligustrum refuses to be only a summer standout as it now takes on autumn gold!
We think everybody was “under the boardwalk”. Such a nice day to have this all to yourself for a few minutes.
Now this is the way to get ready for winter. The cows next door are happy to see this!
The Yellowstone Lake Hotel is over 125 years old and has seen countless visitors including U S Presidents!
Architecture on the Coosa! We never tire of the beauty along the river.
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Cotton bolls for floral arrangements are in fashion I read. Guessing you don’t have to go far to find them.
Our town is surrounded by cows, it’s dairy country (also timber country) here. Hay is much in demand for areas affected by drought, further out. That has pushed the price up.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Cath. We have three pastures that are cut for hay, but no cows. Cotton is an abundant crop, and it is so pretty in the fields.
Runningonempty says
Do you have to remove weeds that can poison stock, or do the tenants do that?
Pam @ Everyday Living says
The farmer who cuts the hay is responsible for that.
Runningonempty says
My flower garden is blooming at present as Spring here, but it’s weed time too!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Cath, I know your flowers are beautiful!

Your early morning photos with the fog and your sweet little “punkin” are among my favorites this week. I’m so thrilled it’s cool, I’m doing the Happy Dance! It took me 4 weeks of 12 hour days, but I finally got my MIL packed, moved from FL, unpacked, and in her new independent living apartment. I’m going to do some serious fall cleanout at my own home now and get rid of excess “stuff”! Blessed Sunday, Pam.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Good morning Roxanne. I know you have been so busy packing up your MIL and moving her from FL. Wishing you a beautiful Sunday and blessings for your day!

Beautiful pictures Pam. The mist from the river is so pretty. Surreal. Just how far do you live from the river? Miss Ella Mae is very picturesque and I love seeing her. The pictures you share with us are going to be wonderful to look back on in years to come. Now that cotton field is a blessing to the farmer that planted it and another one because I don’t have to,pick it.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
The back corner of our property is about 300 yards from the river. Thank you for your sweet comments about our Ella Mae! Happy Sunday, Alice!

That early morning fog with sun dappling through…..amazing. Ella Mae is looking so grown up – not a toddler anymore. Love her little cold shoulder top. 🙂

Such beauty for us to enjoy Pam. I love seeing the barn stocked with hay, the calf, the cotton fields, the Coosa River..all of it. Ella Mae is just so beautiful with those long eyelashes and sweet smile. She seems so grown up. Cherish every moment with her. I remember you said once if we don’t see beauty all around us, we just aren’t paying attention. Coming home from church Bob was talking about our beautiful mountains and I quoted you for the zillionth time. Every post is a masterpiece. We are grateful for you.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Dianne, you are so sweet. You are a blessing and a treasure to me sweet friend!

A serene Sunday enjoying these beautiful landscapes. Nature gives us beautiful images, but if there is not a good photographer who captures them, they would not exist for those of us who are not present.
Ella Mae is a very beautiful girl and every day is more …
Blessings for everyone on this beautiful Sunday

Bendiciones y abrazos, Pam

Ella Mae looks adorable. She is so pretty and looks so sweet.
Love how you captured the fog and light. Special times to enjoy God’s creation. The cotton field and sunset is dreamy and nostalgic.
Your Sunshine Lagustrums are stunning.
Isn’t our weather so changeable? Yesterday, I was freezing at the Country Living Fair. Today it is so mild!
Have a great week.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Good morning Bonnie. Our weather does change so fast. We attended a wedding yesterday afternoon and it was 77 degrees and a perfect autumn day with bright blue skies. Have a wonderful Monday!
