“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”
Romans 12:10
Warm greetings sweet friends! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only a little over two weeks away? I host our family’s celebration each year, and that means a lot of planning. I enjoy preparing all the food which requires beginning early and being organized. I am already in planning mode…the menu, grocery list, and tablescape. With that in mind, I thought you might could use some inspiration and ideas for your own Thanksgiving table.
I borrowed my daughter-in-love’s “autumn” Lenox china for this Thanksgiving table. The centerpiece was so simple, an heirloom pumpkin with bittersweet and seeded eucalyptus! I shared some sweet memories for this Bittersweet Traditions tablesetting.
Who says you have to have seasonal dish ware,
what is wrong with A Blue & White Thanksgiving and a touch of pumpkin?
With my family all gathered around the table each year, it gives me A Reason to Be Thankful! Spode “woodland” remains my favorite autumn pattern!
With the holiday Just Around The Corner, have you made your plans? For this table, I mixed textures and colors with a trio of Department 56 pumpkins.
Thank you for your visits and the lovely comments that you leave. As we prepare for Thanksgiving may we have hearts of gratitude not just for one day, but everyday!

I’m in love with your dil’s ‘autumn’ pattern from Lenox, but these are all so tasteful, Pam. You are a true Southern woman, with beautifully thought-out menu and table for family to gather to. It’s a gift.
Aw, Rita how sweet you are.
I’m so glad you didn’t make us choose, Pam! They’re all lovely. I have to say I am partial to the cotton ball ring around the pumpkin. In fact, that would even work beautifully for Christmas with something red in the center and the white cotton. Oh, so inspired.
Jeanie, I agree the cotton boll wreath would be great with Christmas.
Yes our hearts are filled with gratitude! Love your classic, colorful dining room every time I see it.
Amazing! I can’t wait to see your 2018 tablescape!
All beautiful, but I am partial to the Spode “woodland” with those fabulous place mats. Simply gorgeous!
It is hard to believe we are about to see Thanksgiving – I know when your family is all seated at your beautiful table you are grateful beyond words. Blessings, dear friend.
I am also partial to the Spode. Have a wonderful day, Sandra!
Just beautiful Pam…I love your round up of your Thanksgiving tables! I’m trying to decide which way to go for next week’s blog hop. I’m anxiously waiting for your new dining room reveal .♥
Mary, I am trying to decide also. I know whatever you do it will be gorgeous!
Love seeing all your different settings. The older I get, the more Thanksgiving has become my very favorite holiday…I love tradition, and preparing all the dishes my mom used to fix for us is a big part of it. I’m sure Ella Mae will carry on your family traditions too!
I so agree Roxanne and I love hosting my family. Have a blessed day!
Gorgeous, Pam!! I love the colorful pumpkins in the last one, love the mix of colors at every place setting, so festive!!
Thank you so much Carole ???
So beautiful..one can feel the love…
Aw, thank you Sue!
They are all gorgeous but I think my favorite is the blue and white with a touch of pumpkin! And the cotton of course! I love a traditional Thanksgiving, with the same host every year. My sister in law used to do every other year, then we decided she would host every year and I would host Christmas Eve, but as the children grew up and married things have changed and we can’t all gather every year, have to share with in-laws etc. This year our plans are still in progress, but I know I won’t be hosting, we’ll be either going to my nephews or going to the beach, which means very casual. I do miss setting a grand scene in the formal dining room, but whatever we end up doing, it will be so good to celebrate with part of our family. I am going to make lots of Thanksgiving dishes all month no matter what!
Jenna

All are inspiring and it is hard to pick a favorite. I’ve been scrolling back and forth but can’t decide since I like them all. Yes, it is hard to believe Thanksgiving is in two weeks! I’m hosting our Huntsville kids so I’d better get busy.
I look forward to seeing what you do next week.
