“And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!””

Your grass is still green! Haven’t seen that for three months. Now let me say at least there is no mowing here. Just shoveling. How exciting to have Miss Ella Mae with you during this glorious season to bake a gingerbread house with and to see the wonder on her face as she experiences all that CHRISTMAS means. These are memory making times for all of you. I look forward to your posts to experience Miss Ella Mae’s joy too. God bless and protect you and your family throughout Christmas and the coming NewYear.

Hi Alice, the grass is winter rye and Butch plants it and then has to mow it. I try to get him not to plant it. Ella Mae is coming this afternoon for,the whole family to bake gingerbread boys and girls! God bless you and your family and wishing you a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Pam to all of you! What a special post of Christmas past, present and tradition. The sweet Ella Mae pics are so uplifting as her innocence and excitement of experiencing new things just shines through! Her gingerbread house is quite an accomplishment! Grandmas and Grandpas are special as they make memories that are never forgotten! You & Butch do that for Ella Mae & the love shows in your pictures. Your ornament collection is gorgeous, especially the American heart! Snuggles with his overalls has the perfect name and is just begging for a hug. The park is spectacular with all the lights and the train for the children. You have once again given us another wonderful Sunday treat. God bless you all! Clara ❤️

Merry Christmas!! Dear friends.
I really enjoyed the beautiful photos. Christmas is here, my daughter Leticia and her children arrive in Granada tonight to celebrate Christmas Eve along with my other daughter who lives in Madrid. We gathered the whole family, 5 adults and four children, my dear grandchildren.
A delight of the images that send me that have seemed endearing to me as the chair of Butch, Ella Mae in the arms of Santa, the bear … those small / great things that give us happiness for their tenderness.
I have some nice photos to send. I will try, with so much child, to leave me a quiet moment and send them.
A big hug on such a special night
Dolores

Well, as you can tell, I’ve been offline a few days. But oh, this post was SO worth coming back to (and I’ll be back for all!). Every photos is a gem but the one of Ella Mae and Santa is one of the best Santa photos I’ve ever seen. It’s absolutely glorious. It’s like something out of Victoria or the most beautiful holiday book you’ve ever seen. (I’d submit that this spring for next year… mom and dad permitting!). I hope your holiday was absolutely perfect but I have a feeling with your little angel at hand and all that beauty and memories, it was.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Jeanie, you are always so encouraging. I have been taking a little break, and it has been so nice! Our son took the Santa photo and I thought it looked like a Victoria also.
