“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
We hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was most memorable just spending time with our precious family. For the last Sunday of 2018, we have chosen a few of our favorite photos from over 550 that we have shared this year in our Simple + Southern Sunday series. Each Sunday we share photos of what caught our eye during the week. That might be a little country church, scenery around our pretty city, food that we have enjoyed, the seasons in our garden, amazing sunsets, and most importantly, our sweet granddaughter.
Pull up a chair and enjoy reminiscing with us as we stroll through 2018!
We always love to photograph churches as we travel about. This one is in Highlands, NC.
Our beautiful and much photographed Noccalula Falls!
Springtime in the south is breathtaking!
Our young gardener examining the new growth.
You’d never guess that she likes to dress as some of her favorite characters.
It seems like Autumn passed in a flash and now we are already facing a new year!
Early Spring in our downtown historic district.
One of life’s true pleasures… good food!
The cold wet days of late December often find us longing for these days but we are trying hard to not wish our life away!
Most cotton has now been harvested but we did observe a few fields last week yet to be picked!
We were blessed to catch the Aspens at their peak this fall!
The closing of the day and the closing of another year!
We pray that all of you experience the blessings of a new year. May God make His face to shine on you….!
HAPPY NEW YEAR
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.
