“Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.”
1 John 4:15
A simple southern church yet quite beautiful!
A most unusual sunrise last week as Venus and the Moon are hanging on as long as they can!
We are glad to see some sun and sky. It has been very rainy in our area for a while.
A fog hugs the top of what is known as Shinbone Ridge.
Ella Mae is all about modeling her “Frozen” costume!
Planting time and new growth will be here before we know it. We’ll see if the groundhog agrees next month!
The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake!
A footbridge along a peaceful path!
This magnolia garland served as Christmas decor. Now in a new location, we decided to allow it to linger!
We see a lot of cardinals in the winter. This one almost looks like part of the statue. Nice perch!
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Love the Venus photo and the bird on the statue. Do you feed the birds? Why is there a gate on a footbridge? Cath
Pam @ Everyday Living says
We have lots of cardinals and blue jays this time of year and I don’t feed them. The gate is there in order to lock the wildlife refuge. Have a wonderful week!

The photo of Ella Mae is giving a glimpse of the beautiful woman she is going to become! Always love your photos of the sky. Good luck tomorrow night at the Natty! Not to jinx my Tigers, but I think Alabama has the better team.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Roxanne. Clemson has a great team. I wonder if the country is probably getting tired of Alabama and Clemson?
Alice Genzlinger says
No we are not! We look forward to a great game because it is Alabama and Clemson plus the South has the best teams!?

It’s hard to believe you’ll soon be able to plant. We won’t pull that out of our hats till May! Your early garden will give us hope!

Jeanie, it has turned cold here with more rain!

Pam, every week I say, “this is my favorite.” But, I think this post really is. I absolutely love every photo from beginning to end. The dear pristine white church is lovely, the sunrise is gorgeous and of course Ella Mae is beautiful. Love, the magnolia garland. I have what I refer to as my winter wreath, it is dried magnolia leaves and pine cones. It shows pretty on our front door. Mustn’t forget the sweet cardinal on his perch, he looks as though he was waiting for you. Have a beautiful day, dear friend. ?
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Sandra for your gracious comments and friendship❤️

That photo of the sunrise with Venus is breathtaking! Ella Mae is just adorable, and she reminded me of when my Caroline wore princess dresses all the time. She had quite a collection. Oh, how I miss those days. Enjoy your Sunday, sweet friend!!!

Pam these pictures are just gorgeous! I love all of them! I think a small, intimate church is so inviting. Sweet Ella Mae is an adorable little princess holding her baby doll. The cardinal is perfectly perched taking in all the beautiful landscape and perhaps looking for a snack! The sunrise shot with the moon & Venus is outstanding. Thank you for all the beautiful photos! Wishing you a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Clara ?
