“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”
1 John 3:1
It takes a lot of effort to hit the woods on a cool morning before daylight but it is usually worth it!
We can’t get enough of the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter. It’s a different line up every morning.
This solitary giant seems to be reaching for the clouds
The old red barn needs a lot of attention but we are hoping to restore it!
If you guessed Cinque Terre and the Italian Riviera you would be correct.
Kinda makes you think about some fishing, especially after yesterday’s near 70 degrees!
If you’re not up for an early morning sunrise in the woods maybe this is a good alternative.
We are wondering if there are cows here or just bells?
As the sun slowly sinks in the west….
… we know we’ve been blessed with another day. A good reason to never tire of sunsets !
” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.
Hebrews 13:8

Beautiful photography especially the moon, Venus and Jupiter. Miss Ella Mae is growing up so fast with her cute pigtails. Today we are going to worship our Lord and Savior, JESUS Christ then making a big pot of chili to enjoy while watching the Rams beat the Patriots, we hope. Hoping you and Butch have a winning team also.

Sounds like a perfect day sweet friend. Enjoy!

All beautiful, Pam. But, you know I am partial to Miss Ella Mae. She is darling with her pig tails. Also, the sunsets always steal my heart. You are magic with them. Have a lovely day, dear friend.❤

Pam, when I first met my husband (47 years ago!), he ran the planetarium at the old Charleston, SC museum. In his Christmas program, he showed how the star in the East may have been a rare conjunction of Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn. He also talked about the “darkening of the sky” during the crucifiction could have been an eclipse. Now that he has gone back to graduate school at age 73 (bc a “2nd doctorate seems like fun!”), his professor wants him to learn the software to run the Clemson planetarium.

Pam, the photos are beautiful, and as I look at them I am reminded of the peaceful and wonderful time that I had with you this weekend. It was such a sweet visit with Ella Mae, Allison, and Seth, and of course, with Paw Paw. And with you and Butch also. You were wonderful and gracious hosts. Sweet Home Alabama!

Hey Pam,
Nature is such a beautiful thing, but the best thing about it is it’s so easy to see God’s presence and feel him all around us. Your photos are delightful but inspiring too.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

We just bought the property that the barn is on. It is adjacent to what we already own. The barn could be close to 75 years old. I could find some great use for it (LOL)!
the Painted Apron says
Exciting! I look forward to hearing more about it!

Pam, What beautiful pictures! Ella Mae’s pigtails are adorable! Love the old barn & hope you get to restore it as planned. The sunrise & sunset pictures are exquisite. Italy is so colorful & you captured it perfectly! The fishing pond is inviting & sitting underneath that lone giant tree would be delightful on a warm, sunny day enjoying a picnic. Thanks for sharing such inspiring pictures! Clara
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Clara. We hope to restore the old barn, it will take some time. Thank you so much for your sweet visits.

Oh, these photos are so pretty! Wow! I think my favorite is the one of the sun peeking through the forest and, of course, little Ella Mae! She is so adorable! You must love having her around. Children bring so much joy and renewal of life and energy. God bless all of you, sweet friend. 🙂

It wasn’t offensive. I know any Google + comments on blogs are going to be deleted by them, but I thought it didn’t start for a few days yet.
