“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:30-31
Mornings are like snowflakes; no two are ever exactly alike but all beautiful!
Owls Hollow is looking good from above along with Lookout Mountain, Shinbone Ridge, and the distant Weiss Lake !
Exactly what you would expect to see in Nashville !
It is over 5 weeks until Spring, but here in our area of Alabama we are already getting some nice hints of things to come.
Ella Mae loves flowers and this daffodil must look good enough to eat ! We imagine she is hoping for a nice fragrance!
We know a lot of the nation is still in the deep freeze with snow in places where it is not normally seen. Our local ground hog saw his shadow so scenes like this one may not hold out.
Our snowman couldn’t survive outside so Ella Mae brought him in.
Does your Valentine’s Day include some goodies like these?
We can never seem to get this display of berries at Christmas so we will adopt them as clusters of Valentine red.
A rogue Bradford Pear at the edge of our pasture is attempting to cheat winter a little!
”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

I always love your Sunday pictures. The sunrise picture with the 5 electrical wires running through it reminded me of lines and spaces in music. One could write a beautiful melody over this beautiful scene of God’s creation.

Thank you Nancy. What a beautiful analogy that I had not thought of. Happy Sunday

My sister that lives in NC said she had Daffidil’s blooming yesterday but that they are a month early. In our area it’s April before they are brave enough to poke their little heads out of the ground. It’s been to cold and ice and snow on the ground but yesterday I bundled up and went for a walk. The sun was shining and I needed the fresh air to get rid of some cobwebs in my head. Miss Ella Mae is a fashionista. Love the dress with pink boots. Don’t we all wish the bloom would smell heavenly? Hope your Sunday is a sweet sweet gift of peace and quiet.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Alice. A walk does help clear the mind! Wishing you a beautiful week!?

Glorious beauty for us this morning, Pam. I so thank you for the daffodils, ours are peaking through the soil but it will probably be mid March before they bloom. The one with precious Ella Mae is almost as big as she is. It is so wonderful that you are instilling in her the beauty of this earth. It will remain with her always. I love the photo looking out onto your pasture. It is not only beautiful, but so peaceful. Wishing you and yours a wonderful day. Blessings, dear friend.

You always see so much beauty in everything Pam, you are so inspiring with your always interesting and gorgeous photos! I am worried about some of the trees I’ve seen sprouting with the warm temps we had last week, let’s hope Mother Nature is kind and we won’t have any more freezing blasts! Love the red berries for Valentine’s Day!

Thanks Jenna. Things are blooming much too early.

I love your comparing a snowflake and morning as I’ve not thought of the two having similarity. Daffodils already? Now that’s a sure sign spring is drawing near.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Linda, I am afraid the daffodils will be frost-bitten!
S C Williams says
Love the serene pictures Pam. Daffodils give us hope that the cold rain will end & yield buttery blooms soon as we have greenery but no flowers yet. EM is ready for Valentine’s Day in her cute dress & boots with flower in hand & candy available in the house because grandparents always have the good stuff! The nature scenes are beautiful, especially the sunrise! Wishing you a very relaxing Sunday. Clara

Beautiful photos. I have daffodils also and they are happy flowers. Ella Mae has gotten much taller and her hair is growing too. Is she excited about her new baby sister coming soon? She looks so pretty with her personal daffodil.
Your last scripture from Hebrews is such a comforting one.
Have a blessed week.

Pam, Ella Mae is precious! How we grandmothers love our grands.
Spring is hovering around the edges here in Middle Tn with daffodils ready to pop open and a few cherry trees showing blooms. Definitely too soon as they will probably get nipped by a freeze.
Always enjoy your Sunday photos. Have a good week.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Yes, Mildred grands are definitely GRAND! Wishing you a wonderful week❤️
