“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Prior to 3 consecutive nights below freezing, everything was really looking spring-like !
The phrase “All Roads Lead To Rome” would likely mean Rome, Georgia for the folks living on this north Georgia farm!
There is not much evidence that the cold nights of last week did a lot of damage. Breezy nights kept the frost to a minimum.

When you’re in Florida at a gulf coast restaurant you simply must forget about calories and dig in to some fried shrimp !
The “tulip trees”, always early bloomers, were especially early this year after a mild February in our part of the south!
Waiting on a ride to Chic-fil-A !
Our ornamental cabbages were standing straight up looking skyward, but after a 21 degree morning they seem to be bowing down as if praying for Spring to please hurry !
Old barns seem to have a lot of character and even though most are built similar, their setting makes them all unique.

Love seeing spring arrive! EM, I swear, looks like she’s ready for primary school, growing so fast! The farm photos are spectacular. No wonder Butch wanted a barn and more acreage!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Rita, Butch has always wanted to farm!

Love the calf waiting for a ride to Chick-fil-A. As children we made a pet of our Papa’s calf. I’ll bet Miss Ella May would love having a pet calf❤️
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Alice, she probably would?
Linda says
Good morning, Pam and what a morning it is with darkness defining it due to the time change. I feel as if I should still be in bed! Your Sunday photos always show how attentive you are to all that is around you as well as demonstrate your camera skill.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Linda. The time change can be hard, it was pitch black at 6:00 a.m.
Sandra at Maison De Jardin says
Good morning, Pam. All your photos are wonderful and a reminder of the spring that is about to unfold. I love the old home with those magnificent old trees in front. I would imagine them to be oaks. And, the old barn is wonderful – don’t you wish is could talk? I agree with Rita, Ella Mae looks ready for school. She is a doll with her beautiful brown eyes.
I do hope the flood waters have receded, so that people can begin to make repairs. And, that calm weather and blue skies will be with your area for a long while.
Wishing you and your family, a wonderful day and week ahead. ❤
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Sandra. The flood waters have receded, but we can’t seem to get out of the rain pattern. We have had so little sun over the past two months. Have a wonderful week!
Roxanne Bernard says
Happy Sunday, sweet Pam! Stunning photos as always. Are the waters receding at all in your area? Ella Mae looks so grownup and ready to be the Big Sister!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Roxanne. Thankfully, the flood waters have receded, but we are still very much in a rain pattern. Ella Mae is excited that she is going to be a big sister?

The last photo is spectacular with the reflections! I am so thankful we were spared the dangerous weather this weekend and that the freeze didn’t affect things too much. The barn photos always seem to tell a story…and of course I love seeing pretty Ella Mae, she always has the cutest outfits on!

Pam, The photos are wonderful as usual. Love the calf, a perfect rep for Chick-fil-A! Ella Mae is so cute & has grown so much. I can just see her putting on a little apron to prepare for her role as helper even if she is just setting the table. Your sweet devotion & attention is giving her such a solid foundation which is such a blessing. We know her parents are so thankful for you and Butch. The spring pics are welcome sights after such a wet winter. The homestead house is just beckoning you to the front porch for a view of the property from a good vantage point. The barn sitting among the stately trees holds so many stories from days long ago. Hopefully your town will soon recover from the devastating floods. Wishing you a relaxing Sunday. Clara ❤️??
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you sweet Clara. The flood waters have receded. It has been such a wet winter with little sunshine. Looking forward to springtime. Have a wonderful week!

Your photos are just amazing, sweet friend! So wonderful to visit with you and take in all the beauty! I feel so sorry for the trees and flowers that appear, only to suffer from a freeze later. I know that sounds crazy, but it just hurts to see them in all their glory, filled with the hope of Springtime, and then so dejected looking later. Real Spring is coming and won’t be long now! Then, Lord willing, we can enjoy the beauty for a much longer time without the threat of another freeze, thankfully. God bless you!!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Cheryl. I do love spring, but we usually have a late frost. Have a wonderful week dear friend!

Ella Mae looks like she is ready for school.
It has been a strange winter across the country. We too are looking forward to spring. The wildflowers have started here in the desert so that’s a wonderful sign!
Oh an ole barn is fabulous… you both will have fun with yours very soon!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Yes, we can’t wait to start the clean-up of the barn!

Your photos are beautiful and you live in paradise as far as I’m concerned. I lived on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country and loved it. Love the old weathered barns that remind us of how many generations have lived on the land. I found you through Katherine’s Corner. In Him, Brenda
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks for your visit, Brenda! I have visited the Texas Hill Country and loved it. Have a wonderful week!

Your photos are beautiful!
We’ve had many cloudy days and a lot of rain this year, too (I’m on the TX Gulf Coast). We are used to having sun most days, so this is tough.
The tulip tree is a type of magnolia, right? Our neighbors have a tree that looks like that. Absolutely gorgeous!
Visiting from Thursday Favorite Things. Have a great weekend!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much for your visit Shannon. Yes, the tulip tree is a type of magnolia. Have a wonderful week!

I missed your Sundays while I was traveling! Beautiful as always. Ella Mae has the most serene look. That could be a painting as much as a photo!
