“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:19-21
Ready to burst forth as it appears the late frost may have failed to inflict any harm !
Kate’s Coop has become very productive it seems.
Not that we can change anything, but we are keeping an eye on the old oak and what appears to be a vertical split opening up ! This one has been on our hill for many, many years.
Maybe Ella Mae is working on following in her Daddy’s footsteps ?
A happy song can turn into a serious moment quickly!
The daffodils are drooping and beginning to fade. They are early bloomers and are about spent for the season.
Not sure if this is part of an Insurance Commercial or just two ducks enjoying each others company !
The daffodils may be fading but the Lady Banks are preparing to put on a show !
In a couple of weeks this scene will look very different.
One of the prettiest pics we’ve seen in a long time. Katy captured this in Georgia last week. Awesome!
Two golden rays peeping through near the end of the first day of Spring.

Swoon Pam! Your pics (and Katy’s! ) are glorious! I’m green with envy over your snowballs ready to bloom! One side of our bush appears to be frost-nipped. Keeping my fingers crossed the other side will bloom. Happy Sunday. ♥
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Mary. Hopefully you will see blooms on your snowball. One thing I noticed about mine, the blooms are smaller this year.

I look forward to your post this time of year to see the earth wake up from a long Winter. It’s beautiful and you capture it so well. Katy’s hens are quite productive. A quiche and a buttermilk pie are just a few of the delicious items that come to mine seeing them and don’t forget the deviled eggs. Please record Miss Ella Mae when she’s singing. It’s will be a life long treasure. Happy Sunday.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Alice. A buttermilk pie sounds delicious, I haven’t had one in years! Ella Mae loves to sing, and I have so many recordings of her ?

So beautiful, so calming. A perfect ending to a busy day of packing, moving some things (very small in the grand scheme of things). Thank you.
I hope your oak survives. It’s sad to see our long-lived trees injured or diseased. Wonder why a vertical split occurs? Lightening? Animal?

Today without a doubt the protagonist is Ella Mae. I love the natural photo of E.M. singing! … it’s great !!!
Spring begins to explode, your buds want to leave and in a few days will begin the explosion of spring and the birth of a new member of the family: another girl who will make happiness for everyone.

Love your photos Pam…and I love Miss Ella Mae singing and then stopping. So cute. My Plumaria is sending out yellow blossoms. It is about the only deciduous tree in Florida, as all the banana like leaves drop off in the Fall and start to come back in the Spring. Love their deep fragrance. Nothing like your flowering splendor…which is gorgeous. Katy did good too. Hugs sweet Friend and Happy Sunday.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Kari and sending hugs to you my friend!

Bless you, Pam, for the pictorial glimpses into your lovely Sabbath world and for the latest from
precious EM…warbler? My quince bushes have opened with the most delicate apricot blossoms
and have redeemed our patience in waiting for Winter’s end. He is the same always, it is we
who change, hopefully closer to Him. Have a blessed week.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Mary. I know the apricot blossoms on your quince are beautiful! Have a wonderful week!
