“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
The colors of Spring are found in so many places other than beautiful flowers!
This lone tulip was a real eye catcher against a sea of lavender colored flowers!
The flowers at Noccalula Falls Park are popping out.
Ella Mae is taking the “big sister” role seriously, but didn’t mind a break to spend the afternoon in the park!
Emma Kennedy didn’t make it to the park but she seems to be having a good afternoon also!
The legend that the cross of Jesus was made of dogwood is probably only a legend, but the bloom does lend itself to wonder and imagination!
Noccalula Falls has a more “normal” flow now after a few days of drier weather!
Redbud against forsythia blends some of natures most wonderful colors this time of year.
Japanese magnolias (tulip trees) have really bloomed well and long this season !
We have always enjoyed seeing “tulip trees” as we travel around our area, but we finally planted one in our yard to enjoy right here at home.
The snowballs have been absolutely loaded this Spring and give various looks depending on the time of day. The late afternoon sun seems to peep over their shoulder!
”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

It’s so fun to watch spring unfold in parts further south so we can enjoy a longer spring……
Tulip trees here got frostbitten so the blooms were short-lived. Redbuds are bursting just now, and forsythia and daffodils are still in bloom. No snowballs yet…..
Your yard is already looking beautiful, Pam. Your blooming family is beyond beautiful. ♥
Thank you dear Rita. We had lots of rain last night which helped to wash away some of the pollen. It has been a beautiful spring!
Wow and wow again Pam. God has blessed you and Butch in every way possible. Beautiful grandchildren and a magazine worthy garden.
Alice, God is good and we give Him thanks! Happy Sunday!
Pam, your photos are glorious. Spring is just beginning to arrive here in WV. As hard as it may be to believe, we need rain. I actually watered my sweet peas yesterday, the ground is so dry. Your garden is beautiful and you are probably already enjoying the beauty of it from your lovely patio.
Pam, your dear Ella Mae is more beautiful with every photo. And, precious Emma Kennedy is such a beautiful gift. Wishing you and your lovely family a wonderful day and week ahead. Many blessings to all.
Thank you dear Sandra! We haven’t had much patio sitting because I have allergies and the pollen has been bad. Last night we had a soaking rain, so hopefully some of the pollen was washed away. Wishing you a blessed Sunday sweet friend!
I bet Ella Mae loved her special time with her grands! And sweet Emma — love her head covering too! What great beauty you share with us today, Pam. Every photo (as always) a gem!
Thank you dearest Jeanie! We loved spending an afternoon at the park with Ella Mae!

Thank you! Our spring has been beautiful! Wishing you a joy-filled Sunday!
From the first Bible verse, one of my favorite, to the last photo this was a feast for the soul and the eye. Ella Mae must be over the moon to be the big sister and looks so grownup and pretty. And Emma Kennedy is just beautiful…what a wonderful time of the year to be born. I know you and Butch are beside yourselves with happiness and thanks.
Yes we are, Roxanne! We had the best time taking Ella Mae to the park. She loves riding the train. Spring has been beautiful! Have a blessed Sunday my friend!
Pam, What wonderful pictures! EM is quite the beautiful young lady & her dress is so cute. EK looks so sweet & relaxed. Clara ❤️??

Oh those snowballs are amazing!! After being on the coast for 2 weeks, I am astounded at the burst of blooms absolutely everywhere, and am so distracted driving around! I swear things are growing and greening right before our eyes as I’m sure Ella Mae and now Emma Kennedy are going to do! The chapel is beautiful Pam, such a serene sweet setting!

I know you are bursting with pride much like the flower blooms bursting open. Simply lovely. Our yellow plumaria is blooming now and sending out the most aromatic fragrance. Makes me think of Hawaii and the lei’s. Happy Spring my dear friend and kisses to your grand daughters.
