“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
Happy Friday dear friends! You don’t usually hear from me on Fridays, but I am participating in an Easter Tablescape IG (Instagram) Hop. Janet from Rosemary & Thyme is our sweet hostess. If you are on Instagram, follow on my IG to find all the participants. These ladies are super talented and you will swoon over their creative tablescapes!
Easter is one of my favorite holidays. We begin our Easter Sunday at church as we worship and give thanks to our risen Lord! Then our family congregates at our home for an afternoon lunch that is full of family traditions. I use my beloved Mother’s recipes and prepare my family’s favorite food…all old Southern standards! Ella Mae will be so excited to hunt Easter eggs and we will all enjoy watching her. Baby Sister will have to wait until next year! You are invited to gather ‘round my Easter table!
I pulled out more Easter decor to use for my tablescape. I have collected so much through the years. Once again, a new tablecloth was my inspiration…
…it is a soft floral pattern that showcases Japanese Magnolia blooms! I found the Kate Spade cloth at TJ Maxx and it jumped (of course) into my buggy!
The Japanese Magnolias are no longer in bloom…for the centerpiece I used roses, alstroemeria, azaleas, and hydrangeas!
Springtime comes to life on the Williams Sonoma salad plates. There are four different patterns, I love the butterfly on this one!
Some bunnies came out of hiding and looked quite interested in the flowers!
The tall bunny in the previous photo is a mate to the smaller black and white bunny here. They are by Fitz and Floyd and are favorites of mine! If you notice petals in the water, I placed violas in ice trays and froze them to add a little something unexpected and festive!
Can you have too many bunnies? They do have a habit of multiplying!
Pink dinner plates rest on my go-to American Atelier chargers. Gold flatware complements the gold rims of the dinner and salad plates.
Mismatched antique bread and butter plates hold delicious Easter themed sugar cookies made by Katy’s Aunt Rose. We love our sweet Katy who moved mountains to drive them from Georgia to Alabama, let’s just say these cookies had to cross state lines! They are so good and are Ella Mae approved. An assortment of chalk eggs and vintage crystal candleholders fill the center of the table!
I love the detail of each plate!
Easter M&M’s are always a treat and are so pretty in the delicate egg cups!
My most favorite bunny was crafted years ago by my Mom! Doesn’t she have pretty eyelashes?!
I haven’t seen a hummingbird yet, but they will soon arrive in my garden!
Pride of Mobile azaleas were cut from the garden and placed in jam jars!
Thank you for your visits and your sweet comments…they truly make my day! Wishing you a joy-filled weekend!

Lovely new tablecloth that looks beautiful with your bunnies everywhere. I love your chalk eggs and egg cups and sweet mismatched plates holding the pretty cookies. Very pretty floral arrangement. Sadly my azaleas did not last long and I missed their peak while I was in Texas. They are overgrown and already need pruning!
Have a lovely day and weekend!???
Pam @ Everyday Living says
The azaleas are in full bloom all around us! Thank you Bonnie and have a great weekend!

I love everything on your table. The violas frozen in ice cubes to be used in crystal glasses, awesome. You might be glad I’m not there as those butter dishes might jump in my bag. A well pressed tablecloth is a beautiful thing. My cousin would say it’s been to the pressing club. It’s magic with this setting. I can imagine Miss Ella Maes eyes when she sees it. Mom showed up on the table too. And the cookies? They are a work of art. Thank Katy from me for making the journey to bring them to your Easter table. Just wonder filled Pam.

Alice, I would share the dishes with you. Thank you sweet friend❤️

Pam, what a glorious table! I am especially drawn to anything with bunnies, maybe because we have real ones that live on our property. The one made by your dear mother is my favorite. The cookies look amazing! I always hang my hummingbird feeders out on April 1, and this week the hummers showed up in swarms. It was so wonderful to hear them buzzing around as I worked on my deck yesterday.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Roxanne! Ella Mae loved the cookies. I know that spring is glorious at your home!❤️

My dear friend, it is good to see the table you sent me. Everything is beautiful: flower dishes, cloths! Very nice … I love it, it’s spring concentrated on a table.
I think he missed me these days without appearing in his publications … I was in a coexistence with people from my parish in a very beautiful place near where I live (about 15 km), I had a great time.
These coexistence where everything is spoken, religion is the reason, but then everything is talked about in a relaxed and pleasant attitude.
How am I supposed to love people? I love talking with people even if they do not know each other … It’s a way to see how people are and to be interested in their problems, if any, and if there are any. . There are no better ones, we will praise God for being happier.
Congratulations for the new girl, it’s beautiful … I loved the last photo where you can see it more.
A hug
