Like most of us whose plans and dreams
Have shattered on the way,
The women came with broken hearts
To the tomb on that day.
They had seen the stone,
They knew its size,
How could they get inside?
Hopeless now their efforts seemed,
For Hope had been crucified…

…They may have thought of turning back,
But compassion drew them on.
Amazingly as they came near,
They found the stone was gone.
He’d touched their lives,
He’d paid the price,

Only grave clothes did they find.

  6. He is risen indeed and what a glorious hope to know God loved us so much he sent his only son to take our sins upon himself so that we could have eternal life.

  9. Miss Ella Mae’s memory verse will stay with her forever and it is the verse that calls to all of those who do not know Him. Good for her.
    What a beautiful Easter Story from Mr. Butch Richardson!! He is definitely a keeper Miss Pam. Sadly, I have a few friends unequally yoked, which can be difficult for them. Praise God for our God loving husbands.

  15. I am a few days late. I agree with all your friends. How powerful are your words! All our lives have been changed by the cross and resurrection. I really loved what someone said about a Godly husband. Ella Mae is beautiful and is being taught to love Jesus. On this Easter and every post you have ever done proclaims the greatness of our God. Thank you and Amen.
