“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night,”
Psalms 92:1-2
Fog adds its own beauty to the garden!
We have occasional foggy mornings but, most of those mornings there is no fog only a half mile away. Maybe it is our proximity to the river which makes a big bend behind us and is not far from our pasture.
Vanilla strawberry hydrangeas and freshly baled hay seem to go together and say “it is summer!”
The only thing missing is a cane pole, line, hook, and some worms!
Princess Ella Mae loves the garden and always wants her own flower.
We like our John Deere tractors and apparently someone else is fond of them also!
Peach cobbler with lavender ice cream. This will most certainly destroy a diet program!
The zinnias are never without butterflies.
Our sunflowers would have normally blocked this view of a hay bale but they finally “bit the dust” so we mowed down this section. The birds are loving the easy access to sunflower seeds!
Nice sunsets can often be enjoyed from behind our local mall.
”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Joyous Sunday, sweet Pam! Your garden in fog is so beautiful, along with the sunsets … what a magical place for Princess Ella Mae it grow up. When I was in Charleston last week, Boone Hall Plantation was offering Pick Your Own Sunflowers for 50 cents per stem. Somebody had a great marketing idea because cars were lined up down the highway to get in! The view of that huge field of yellow was spectacular.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you sweet Roxanne. That was a genius marketing idea, and that is a great price for a sunflower stem!

I’m making a peach cobbler for dinner tomorrow night and will follow your lead and serve with lavender ice cream. Thanks for the idea.

It is a great combo!

Thank you sweet Clara. Wishing you a relaxing Sunday afternoon!

The fog, along with the tinted hydrangeas and hay, make me feel it’s more leaning toward fall! The Farmer’s Almanac lore says for every morning fog in August there will be a snowfall for the coming winter. It was a conversation Mr. P. & I had just yesterday morning as we walked along the river and noted the fog. 🙂
Princess EM is such a cherub!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Rita. I didn’t know the Farmer’s Almanac lore about August fog, interesting!

Hi Pam, I have returned to everyday life. I have a busy summer with problems that do not allow me to enjoy my daily life, which is what I like most.
My favorite photo !!!! that of the children in the middle of the garden … I loved it and I copied it and put it on the wallpaper … this is how I see it every time I open the PC.
I think the main reason today is the fog, that lady that gives the landscape a mysterious tone. The month of August also occurs in my environment.
In a few days I will go to Granada to enjoy my daughter Leticia and her husband José Manuel, their children Manuel and Gonzalo, two tremendous naughty …
See you soon, I will send you photos
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Te he extrañado Dolores. Enviando amor y abrazos❤️
