Plenty of shells and a lot of creativity can produce a very unique and unusual display!
One fine pizza at Woerner Warehouse. A Fredericksburg, TX delight!
Mountainmint is plentiful around our area this time of year. Another bee and butterfly attraction!
This was all woods, but some big equipment and about 4 days brought quite a transformation. I guess we call this progress!
Easy to think Tuscany but it’s actually Texas!
Places forgotten…and stories that were possibly never shared.
You can do your pull ups here and then cool off in the pond. Or tie up a tall horse should you ride in on one!

What lovely Sunday captures you have shared with us today on this beautiful Sunday Morning!
Ella Mae is contemplating what flower she is going to pick next!
Happy Sunday dear Pam! Lovely captures!
Thank you Nancy. Have a wonderful Sunday!
Beautiful photos to begin our Sunday! Princess Ella Mae is adorable in her pose!! I’ve never heard off Mountainmint…does it grow wild? Hope your week is as special as you, darling Pam.
Good morning Roxanne. Yes the Mountainmint grows wild all over the hills around our house. It has more of a sage smell than mint. Wishing you a wonderful Sunday my friend❤️
Oh, Pam – all the photos are glorious. But, as always, I have to pick my favorites. No. 1, is precious Ella Mae, goodness are her wheels ever turning. She is a little beauty and I imagine quite the personality. No. 2, is that gorgeous dahlia with rain drops. And, No. 3, the gorgeous sunset. You certainly brought joy and beauty to my Sunday morning. Wishing you and your family a day of beauty, joy and peace. Blessings, dear friend.
Ella Mae has a big personality and is so observant about everything that is around her. I am excited about my dahlias, I have much to learn about growing them. Have a most wonderful Sunday my friend!
Our Ella Mae’s expression – “The chocolate or strawberry cupcake – decisions, decisions…”
As ever, thank you for your thoughtful and creative Sunday verses, photos and blessings, dear Pam; they gladden the heart. May your Sabbath be filled with Faith, Family and Friendship.
Thank you dearest Mary. Have a joy-filled Sunday!
Pam, The dahlia picture is gorgeous & I’m very interested in your observations about growing them as I’ve never tried to do so. It’s a gorgeous color. Ella Mae is such a beautiful young lady! Her eyes are so expressive. I love the sunset & the pizza! Texas hill country is so pretty. I’ve never heard of mountainmint but it’s pretty & functional. The cleared land has a wonderful view. We truly appreciate & enjoy your photography skills which are outstanding! Every picture tells a story & it’s such a joy to see them. Have a great Sunday! Clara 💕
Clara, your sweet comments always make my day! I am finding that dahlias present some challenges in my garden. I will let you know over the next few weeks. Have a blessed week❤️
More stunning photos Pam, and Ella Mae is always the star of the Sunday show! Such a cute pose! And that pizza, holy wow does that ever look good! I’m glad to see your blooms still thriving in this August heat, and I’ve never heard of or seen wild Mountainmint before, so pretty! Have a lovely Sunday
Jenna
Jenna, that pizza was so good that we returned the next day to enjoy it again. I loved the artichokes on it.
I pinned it to try to make some time!
WOERNER WORKS Pepperoni, salami, onions, olives, artichokes, mozzarella, tomato sauce
These are the ingredients listed on the menu.
Oh, thanks Pam, much appreciated! Looks so good!
Lovely Sunday post. Is that a sunrise or sunset?
Mountainmint is new to me. Very interesting.
Loving your dahlia! So pretty!
Have a great week. Love your sneak preview of a tablescape.
Thank you Bonnie, it is a sunset. Happy Monday!
Beautiful photos, I have visited Fredericksburg it is such a beautiful place. Your little darling is so adorable! I planted mountain mint beside our woods years ago it has spread like you would not believe, I love the fragrance! Thanks for the encouragement today.
Blessings,
Sue
Thank you Sue. Our Mountainmint smells more like sage than mint. Have a wonderful week!
It always makes you wonder when you see an abandoned well or barn or house – my mind always goes to who used to stand there and plow and live their lives. We recently went antiquing and I walked into this kitchen of an old, old house and stood in front of the sink and just felt the oddest sensations thinking about that woman who used to stand there and do dishes and cook for her family. Sometimes, you can feel their “presence” more than at other times, but it is definitely something that is real and sends off vibes, I guess you could say. If you ever go to Helen again, make sure you visit the large Nacoochee Antique Mall. There is a newspaper article in there that tells of a “ghost” that lives there, and they actually have a photograph of her standing in the upper floor window! I love going up to that top floor and exploring! It does give you an odd feeling, but it is very interesting, at the same time! God bless you, sweet friend. 🙂
Cheryl, I love antiques and old houses. They have a history and I am like you in wondering about the ones who lived there. Have a wonderful week!
I always enjoy where your pictures take me and your Ella Mae is the highlight. Thanks for another delightful Sunday adventure
Thank you dear Elizabeth, have a wonderful week!
There is beauty all around you. My favorite is Miss Ella Mae don’t you know!
Thank you Alice. How is your hand?
Everything is adorable and peaceful…” I am the true and living way…” Blessings, dear friends, thanks for sharing!
Thank you sweet Maristella!
Beautiful dahlia, beautiful sunset. I am curious about the cleared woods – your property? And I have a feeling Miss Ella is wise beyond her little years.
Thank you Rita. The cleared woods is next to our property. Alabama Power will be installing a major substation, ugh! That was beautiful property!
Oh no! Seems nothing is sacred anymore. That is happening a few blocks from our prior home too. 🙁
Fortunately we won’t be able to see it from our property, but that was unspoiled and beautiful land before the equipment moved in. I guess things never stay the same.
It is mistakenly call progress…..
Yes, Mary. It breaks my heart to see this beautiful property destroyed.
What lovely photographs for this Sunday, sweet friend! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Thank you Shannon, have a wonderful week!
Wow, that Mountainmint definitely stopped me in my tracks. I am going to have to do a google search and see if I can find some seeds for that gorgeous beauty!
Christine, it grows wild around here!
Beautiful photos Pam! I always enjoy seeing glimpses of your garden and landscape photos. I’ve never heard of mountainmint either. I read Rita’s comment above, I would be heartsick over all that land being cleared near me.
Thank you Mary, we are heartsick, at least we can’t see it from our property!
I forgot to say how cute Ella Mae is and that I’m craving pizza for lunch now… 😉
Thank you Mary and the pizza was amazing!
Lovely photos.
Thanks so much, have a wonderful Wednesday!
Beautiful Pam & I wonder what that little mind was thinking too! 😉
Bless you,
Jennifer
Thank you Jennifer! She is definitely thinking of what to do next.
