Happy Thursday dear readers! It has been a few months since I have shared a this and that post, you know those things that truly make up our everyday living.
These beautiful and precious ladies make up my small group that I lead at our church. We do life together and I love that we have a wide age range, with me being the oldest. Yikes, I canβt believe I just said that!
My Renaissance Man works extremely hard keeping up the garden and maintaining 31 acres. He does not know how to sit still and rest, it isnβt in his DNA!
This lone sunflower makes me laugh! When the sunflowers bit the dust RM cut them down, but left this single tall one that still had a large bloom.
I shared our trip to the mountains in June…love this beautiful place!
Our blue-eyed girl is five months old and is wanting to crawl…PJ will have a tough time keeping up with her and big sister!
Last winter this beautiful and sweet cat decided to come and live with us. Ella Mae named him Figaro…
…fast forward to late June when Butch discovered six kittens in his fishing boat. There were three gray and three solid black. Needless to say Figaro got a new name…Miss Figgy! Good homes were found for all six and Miss Figgy went to live with Butchβs sister. The saga of Figaro ended well!
I have been so excited that Victoria Magazine has shared some of my photos on their Instagram stories! You can follow along with me here.
My sweet Daddy loves his grands and great-grands. Emma is currently his youngest, but not for long. My niece and hubby are expecting their second one in September. This will make a great-grand total of seven, five boys and two girls!
The company that Butch works for celebrated their 30th anniversary with a wonderful luncheon. There were many memories shared with more than one hundred fifty guests!
Ella Mae loves our garden. As we walk about, I tell her the name of each flower and then she asks questions…perhaps, a future gardener!
I discovered many years ago to always look up. While eating the best pizza in Fredericksburg on our summer road trip, I admired this wall with its Boucherie sign! That might sound weird to some of you, but it had an industrial look with this vintage or possibly antique sign! A mix is always more interesting!
On the outskirts of Fredericksburg is an upscale boutique featuring beautiful ladies clothing. It had a very interesting vibe with old rusty trucks and antiques outside. The inside was quite amazing, but I felt a little uneasy snapping any photos.
My high school friends try to get together three or four times a year. We have a second annual girls weekend planned for early October in Mentone, AL. I started first grade with the ladies on either side of me…now that was a few years ago!
We have yet to conquer the βselfieβ as you can see. This photo showed up in my memories while preparing this post, so why not share? It was a windy day in Scotland as my hair was blowing everywhere!
Thank you for being the best readers, you truly are a blessing to me. All things autumn will begin happening next week. Love and hugs to all of you!

Love your everyday life, Pam. Kudos on the Victoria acknowledgments. We all know Hoffman media showcases the best! I think Emma is starting to favor her sister a little in the shape of her eyes (not the color, though!). Love the selfie of you & Butch.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Rita. The girls bring us so much joy! Their personalities are completely different. Happy Labor Day Weekend!
Alice Genzlinger says
Love this post. Pensive Miss Ella Mae, Fegoro welcomes cute kittens and becomes Miss figgy, friends gathering together and still meeting since first grade, RM keeping the garden to his usual standard, a lone sunflower keeping watch over all. And last but not least, your sweet daddy with his great grandchild. Life is so short and I admire how you and RM spend it.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Alice, life is so short and we really realize it as we get older. Thanks sweet friend! How is your hand healing?
Alice Genzlinger says
Thanks for asking. Its been seven weeks today that I had surgery and thought the brace would be history but not so. PT has done wonders but still have a long way to go, possibly as much as a year to get feelings back. One very good things has happened, I can get my wedding ring on again thanks to a compression hose. I,m married again! May our Heavenly Father bless you and Butch with a great weekendβ€οΈ

I am glad that you are married again ππ Blessings on your weekend as well β€οΈ
Roxanne Bernard says
I loved all of these glimpses of your life. You sure look like your daddy, Pam! And the picture of you two lovebirds in Scotland is wonderful, you both look so happy. When I was a little girl, I dragged home a cat I named Stanley (60+ years later and Iβm still rescuing animals!). Daddy said βdonβt tell your mother, but Stanley is about to have kittens….Like Mama wasnβt going to notice! Congratulations on Victoria magazine, so well deserved.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Yes, Roxanne you are still rescuing animals. Funny about Stanley…just like Figaro. How is your sister, did the surgery go well?
Roxanne Bernard says
Pam, the kidney was so big they couldnβt laser the whole thing. So now poor Kelley has to go through this whole miserable ordeal again. Thank you for asking.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Oh no, Roxanne. Prayers for Kelleyππ»

Miss Figgy’s baby was ALMOST as cute as your own baby grands! Love posts like this to check in on your world. The Victoria mentions are terrific — that’s one of my favorites. And I really loved how you described the “women you do life with.” I hope we all have those. I do — and I couldn’t do without them!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Jeanie, I always love that you share your life with your readers. Friends are wonderful and so are the virtual onesβ€οΈ
Dolores Velasco says
My dear friends Pam and Butch, seeing your “everyday life” are delicious moments because it fills you with very beautiful everyday things and the most beautiful thing is that you share it with friends, some personally known and others (like me) virtually. But I am convinced that we are joined by almost the same intensity as with those who are at his side.
How endearing are the friends of youth! In my case I do not have them by my side, they stayed in that small and beautiful city, in those unforgettable 19Km2 called Ceuta, and located in the highest end of Africa. I, who sometimes write so much, have never written about it … I hardly dare, there are so many emotions, memories and experiences that it is not easy for me to do so.
The two girls are beautiful … I love them, congratulations on such beautiful granddaughters.
Dolores
I forgot the kitty !!! you have another one …
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Bendiciones y abrazos,
Pam

Love all the tidbits! I think your selfie is very nice.
Wondering if you can tell me how far apart you and RM planted your Limelight hydrangeas, center to center.
Planning to add some to my garden in a few weeks when the weather cools.
Blessings!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Hi Mildred, when they were set out we think they were 8 feet apart, center to center. Hope that is helpfulπ©π»βπΎπ©π»βπΎπ©π»βπΎ
