“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

We are experiencing a resurgence of knockout blooms as the roses are enjoying the life giving droplets!
Thanks to Appalachian Digital Media for an awesome view of the Coosa River not too far from our home!
The Princess goes to the patch!
Cooler weather and most of the pumpkins are holding on. We have lost a few!
An area we had named “fern city” was plowed under recently and the ground was left bare. A situation the utility company calls progress. Amazingly after a little rain, they returned prettier than ever!
Some of the apricot drift roses are prettier than ever!
Fly away…time to head south for the winter, but we enjoyed the Monarchs passing through!
We are trying to stretch the season and enjoy the flowers as long as possible!
The light takes on a slightly different angle each day and the sun is seen peeping through different spots. The angle this time of year brings unusual and gorgeous scenes especially early morning and late evening!
The annual rye grass is making a show. Do any of you plant winter rye?
Hope you will join us tomorrow for Monday Morning Blooms!

Good Sunday morning, Pam. I love each and every photo. Today, I don’t think I can select a favorite, unless it is the Princess. She looks like she is in her glory. We are enjoying the final flush of roses, also. I know we won’t have them long, as we have had a couple of light frosts.
Thank you dear Pam, for all the beauty you share with the world. Wishing you and yours a lovely autumn Sunday.

Thank you Sandra, have a lovely day!

My Sunday Morning time with you has arrived! And how you did not disappoint! That Window in the forest was amazing! Wow that just amazed me. But the roses are also spectacular. But most of all our Princess by the cotton patch! What a sweetheart!
Happy Sunday my friend! May it be filled with lots more beauty!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Nancy, you are so sweet. Have a beauty-filled week!

Did Ella Mae pick some of that cotton? Your sunrise shot is a beauty as were your monarchs last post. I’m seeing fewer and fewer each year and they are definitely gone now.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Linda. The cotton fields have been so pretty…most have now been harvested. Enjoy your week!

The resurgence of the drift roses is like a last kiss of the season, more beautiful than the first.
EM has moved from little one to young lady and her beauty grows with her. That natural window on a fresh day is like a God moment…as is the collection of scripture that uplifts and assures.
How faithful the fern that would not be stilled by being plowed under…so green and refreshing.
Bless you and Butch for this Sabbath pause of glory that fills the spirit…

Beautiful words from our friend Mary! Have you ever written professionally? The drift roses are prettier at the end of the season than at the beginning. Have a wonderful week!

Like everyone has already said, it is impossible to pick a favorite photo today! Princess Ella Mae steals the show, the aerial shot of the river is stunning, and I love that the ferns came back so green and lush. I enjoy your photos of churches too (especially now that I’m on our church building committee and looking for inspiration!). We had soaking rain and cool temps all day Saturday, it was the perfect day!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Saturday was perfect here, cool and rainy. I love a rainy day, especially if I am home. Thank you Roxanne for your faithful visits and friendship. Are you all getting ready to build immediately or just in the planning stages?
Roxanne Bernard says
Pam, we are just beginning the planning process. My “homework” was to call an architectural firm called Building God’s Way. It was a little daunting, but they could not have been nicer or more helpful. When we moved into our new church home on Easter 2018, we had already outgrown it! The beautiful sage green church you featured last Sunday really spoke to me.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
How exciting, Roxanne. I was on the building committee twenty years ago for our new church. I was in charge of the interior selections and was over a committee of five. It all went well. You will be great!
I loved that church building from last Sunday’s post. I spotted it a few miles from Butch’s office. He works an hour away from home, he had seen it but forgot to mention it to me. I will send you a landscape photo rather than the portrait that appeared in the post. We could provide more photos if you are interested.

Love your beautiful place, Pam, and your little princess is so adorable. It seems flowers make a spectacular show right before the frost comes. Blessings,

Lovely Sunday post as usual. I love your sunrise pics. I glanced out the window Friday and my mouth flew open in awe of the gorgeous dark pink sky. I couldn’t capture it on camera. It was amazing but did not last long at all.
Your roses are indeed gorgeous. I am looking forward to tomorrow for MMB.
Cute pic of Ella Mae in the cotton patch.
Happy Sunday.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear friend. People are saying Friday was the most beautiful sunset of the year!

I love the changes in the light that Fall brings. The shadows are beautiful also. My sister might take the large cotton bole wreath on your porch. And I didn’t miss the bracelet on Miss Ella Maes arm. Always a princess even in the cotton field. I’m pretty sure you are greatful for the rain received from heaven as my sister hs been. She said the earth was parched. And I love that the ferns returned. Have a blessed week my friend.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Alice. The rain has been a great blessing and we are to get more today. Enjoy your week my friend!

That is really something to hear about how those ferns were plowed over, then came back prettier than ever! I got so much spiritual good from that and being reminded that no matter what “plows us over” in this life, God will use it to refine us and give us a comeback that makes us even better than we were before we went through the crushing process. Thank you for your beautiful blog, sweet friend. It is so refreshing to my soul.
