βEnter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!β
ββPsalmsβ¬ β100:4β¬ β
Hello sweet readers. I hope everyone is cozy and warm on this rather chilly day in our Appalachian Foothills. Thanksgiving is approaching rather quickly. I am planning my menu, which doesnβt change much from year to year. Are your plans complete…are you hosting, has your menu been decided, what about your tablesetting? If you need tabletop ideas, today I am sharing five Thanksgiving Tables from the archives. I hope you will be inspired to set a lovely table for your family and friends. By clicking on the highlighted words you can view the original posts!
Take away flowers are a nice surprise for your guests. Who wouldnβt love to receive a mint julep cup or mason jar filled with a small autumn arrangement?
There is no place I would rather be than home for Thanksgiving. I love preparing the food for my family and look forward to gathering them around our dining room table!
Giving thanks should not be for one day, but everyday we should be thankful for all of the blessings richly bestowed on us by a loving and gracious Heavenly Father!
You will see my Spode βwoodlandβ all during autumn, but it always graces my Thanksgiving table. You can take the same dishware and change up linens to make it look different. You donβt have to have a pantry full of dishes.
The gorgeous Lenox βautumnβ china has only been used once at my home. Find out more in my bittersweet traditions!
We have so many reasons to be thankful! As I have mentored younger ladies through the years, I have suggested when life seems so very hard start writing down your blessings. It will always lift our spirits!
Thank you for visiting with me today, it is always a pleasure to see you here. Wishing each of you a most blessed Thanksgiving season!

So many gorgeous tables Pam! I must confess, after drooling over your velvet and plaid pumpkins I bought some and just love them! Your tables are always elegant and full of eye candy, I know your family loves to gather there…What fun to have a new addition to your table this year!

Yes, exciting to have a new addition this year. I am glad you got the pumpkins, you will enjoy them!
Roxanne Bernard says
All of the settings are so beautiful, I especially love the pheasant on the wooden plank. I feel the same way about Thanksgiving, Pam. My family is very small so we always invite people who would otherwise be alone to gather around our table. You are so right about always being grateful. When I jumped off a ladder and shattered my heel, it changed my life forever in a split second. During my long recovery, I kept a gratitude journal. Every day I made myself write down one thing … turns out there was a LOT to be thankful about.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Roxanne. We have so much to be grateful for, many, many blessings!
marmeladegypsy says
Every image is glorious, Pam. Just beautiful in every way. Our Cork Popper friend Barb always has takeaway flowers for us and I was thinking of doing the same for TG if we end up hosting. (Which may or may not happen!) I love the idea of them in the julep cup! And of course, your box with the velvet pumpkins captured me when I first saw it. They are all so lovely, Pam. I know when people sit at your table they are spellbound!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Jeanie, you are always so sweet. Take away flowers are always a hit!
Sandra at Maison De Jardin says
Pam, every setting is gorgeous. My favorite is your Spode on the feather placemats – just makes me gasp. For anyone who sits at your table, it would be a blessing for them. Enjoy these days as we will all be in the holiday swing of things soon. Stay warm, it is snowing here this morning.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Sandra. I do love the Spode. Have a warm and cozy week my friend!

Pam, this is such a beautiful post and is sure to give everyone wonderful inspiration for their Thanksgiving tables. Each one is stunning! I love what you said about counting your blessings. No matter how bad things are there is always something to be thankful for. We often take our blessings for granted. Beautiful and inspirational post, sweet friend! Happy Tuesday!!!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Shannon. Yes, we do often take our blessings for granted. Stay warm this week!
Cheryl says
Oh, I completely agree with you. It is such an encouragement and blessing to count our blessings and writing them down makes them even more concrete in our minds. It will absolutely turn around a depression to start praising God and lifting His holy name. He is so worthy of our praise, regardless what we are going through. I am so thankful Jesus came to give us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness! He is an awesome Lord. May He bless you and your family this Thanksgiving, sweet friend!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you sweet friend. I love the old hymn, βcount your blessings, …name them one by one…!

Nothing much changes on the menu or the table when it comes to Thanksgiving. Keeping the tradition is what makes the day so comfortable. I can’t wait!

Pam… I posted on here this morning and was the first to comment. Once again … it’s gone!
This is strange that it only happens on our blogs. I am not posting from WordPress but right on your Blog.
I am thrilled to see your beautiful Thanksgiving Tablescapes! I enjoy seeing all the inspiration!
We are headed to the Lakehouse and to my sons house for Thanksgiving! My boys are in charge of the Turkey and everyone else brings a side dish. They also make side dishes. I cant wait!

Thank you so much, Nancy. I am so sorry this commenting has been so complicated. How nice to be able to have others prepare dishes for your Thanksgiving meal. Wishing you a blessed week my friend!

Yes, writing down your blessings, or actually just some time spent praising God for all of those blessings is a good reminder when things seem tough or challenging.

Thank you so much Chloe!

Your dear Mom would be so proud of your carrying on her legacy of love and hospitality, Pam, especially in light that she managed it on her own without contributed side dishes. She must have been so well organized and energetic. I will be a
family guest this year but will bring our traditional molded spiced cranberry sauce, a perennial winner. Your tablescapes are
beyond creative and please don’t leave those feathered placemats out of your sight when I am around.. too irresistible. I
just know your Thanksgiving gathering will be covered with His Divine Blessings and approval of your year-round Thanksgiving that you offer up through the work of your hands.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you sweet Mary! I would love your recipe for molded spiced cranberry sauce! Enjoy being a guest this year.
