“I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.”
Psalms 69:30
Hello dear readers and Happy Thanksgiving Week! If you are like me you are in the kitchen preparing for the big feast on Thursday! I do love cooking for my family! We always have a traditional meal of my family’s favorites and I sometimes try something new. But there are certain dishes I know not to change…Mother’s dressing, 4 cheese mac’n cheese, sweet potato casserole, and Butch’s rosemary mashed potatoes. There will be one final Thanksgiving/autumn table on Thursday and then it will be all Christmas. Since I am in the middle of cooking, cleaning and decorating, it is the perfect week to dip into the archives and share 6 of my favorite Christmas tables. Take five minutes to prop your feet up, have a cuppa, and just rest. Maybe you will get some new ideas or be inspired for your Christmas tables. I do miss my red dining room especially at Christmas! We are a musical family and The First Noel is one of my favorite tablescapes!
Sweet Christmas Table was so much fun to style. I love mixing patterns, colors, textures…
Plaid Tidings has been a reader favorite!
Holy Love In A Manger is really special because the beautiful dinnerware on the table was a gift that tells the miraculous story of the birth of Jesus. The title of the post is the name of a Christmas song penned several years ago by my Renaissance Man. The name of RM is most fitting because he can literally do almost anything!
In my quest to use what I have in a different way, Golden Reindeer graced this table and became my theme!
Christmas Tartan & Trees spotlights my oldest Christmas pattern “Happy Holidays” by Nikko and a few of my beloved Mother’s handmade Santas!
Thank you so much for your visits and gracious comments. I wish you the most wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving spent with the ones you love, eating the most delicious food, and thanking our great God for all of His blessings.

So let’s have coffee together…and look at your pretty Christmas tables! Oh how beautiful!
I love anything Tartan especially since the LakeHouse is in a little town called Edinboro, founded by the Scottish. I will be setting the dining room table here and adding Tartan Plaid.
And festive lights with beautiful bokeh was captured perfectly!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Just love the first table with its seasonal nod to nature in the fruit and evergreen center score.
You have a wonderful knack of carrying out your themes with the tableware, especially the
dishes. I love your Mom’s center stage of Santas. What happy conversation and memories
they must have evoked. One can never go wrong relying upon tartan to set the background
at Christmas.. You manage to score perfectly on each of your appointments, Pam dear.
I can whiff the delicious aromas emanating from your kitchen across our state lines….Next on
the agenda – Pam’s Christmas Recipe Collection. Hope Butch sets the scale back to accommodate the added avoir du pois of the Thanksgiving feast. A most blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours and to all, beloved Friend.

Oh my aching back! This is marvelous to sit down for a little while and enjoy all your beautiful tables!! Like others have said, impossible to pick a favorite. 💕All of my dear mother’s recipes will be served here, otherwise a riot might ensue. I did get frisky with a new to me Southern Living bread pudding recipe, topped with a warm praline sauce. I keep taste testing the sauce, swooning! Happy, joyous Thanksgiving Pam and Butch.

Until Thanksgiving is over, I can’t think about Christmas. One thing’s for sure. When it comes to Christmas tables, I have far less to work with this year as I got rid of so much stuff when thinking we were going to move. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
