“But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.”
Micah 5:2
The dawning of a fresh day. It’s always more interesting with clouds and no two sunrises are ever exactly the same!
We spent time this past week at home and around the area just noticing the natural colors we typically associate with Christmas, particularly the reds and greens!
The “dueling” trees have taken on a winter appearance as the season is less than 2 weeks away!
Wishing everyone a Berry Christmas!
Emma is making the most of a beautiful and mild December day having fun in the park!
The sweet nativity ornament is new and was a special gift that came from Thailand.
Just outside a front window, this beauty gives a colorful winter show every year. We are told it is a type of cotoneaster but we’ve never been sure! Maybe there is an expert out there who can confirm?
We think of grass as being a warm season plant but it still has something interesting to offer!
We have a few wreaths hanging in various places.
You never know what is hiding under the leaves protected from the cold and frost! Looks like wild ginger, sometimes called little brown jug?
This wreath has found a home out on the workshop door.
An evening last week offered one of the prettiest sunsets we’ve seen. Of course all of God’s handiwork is beautiful!
”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.

Beautiful photos Pam ❣️ Sunrises, sunsets, & moon photos are favorites as my Mom always commented on how God is so good when admiring those. The berry shrub is loaded down with a food source for the birds this winter. Nature shots remind us of all the beauty God provides with dual purposes (food/shelter )for wild animals.
Emma is a beautiful little doll. My how’s she grown! After seeing the pine boughs last week I made a couple of small pine wreaths for our front porch banisters. It took a little longer but was an enjoyable project. Merry Christmas sweet friend! Clara 🎄♥️
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much Clara. I know your wreaths are beautiful! Wishing you a most joyous day my friend!

That Christmas bark is spectacular.. wonder if it is that color year round or a Christmas gift from the Creator. Little Emma is such a bundle of joy. I would imagine it was an act of heroics
detaching her from that playground. Well, the Williamsburg wreath and apple fan are up at our front door and the lights throughout are timer-synchronized and working. Cannot wait to view your grand production, Pam and Butch. Thank you for this Sabbath feast of photos.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Mary, it is a coral bark Japanese maple, the bark turns more coral in the winter. Thank you dear Mary. I know your Williamsburg fan and wreath are gorgeous. We have our fan up, and I have completed a pared down version of decor! I am liking it!
Heritage Hall says
P.S. Indeed, I do believe that is a cotoneaster….
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Butch thought so, thanks Mary!

Dear friend, you delight us with wonderful winter images. Winter also has its charm …
You always have to see with interest the beauty that Nature brings us in each season because it is the work of the Creator that is always present, and you who have the opportunity to be surrounded by this beauty that is not so appreciated in the city. , you are generous and you show it to us. Thanks friends …
Emma thrives day by day, she is already very old and beautiful.
A big hug
Dolores

Querido amigo, gracias!
