“Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!”
2 Corinthians 9:15
Merry Monday dear readers. It is the third Monday of the month (can you believe it?) and that means a new edition of Monday Morning Blooms with my friends. I hope by now your house is all decorated, your feet are propped up, you have a great book or magazine in your hands, and a warm fire is glowing. Perhaps Christmas music is playing, and you are drinking a cup of hot chocolate? Oh well, I am not quite there yet. Hopefully you will take a few minutes for yourself and visit my very merry porch!
Decorating the exterior of our home is always a priority and usually happens the first of December. My Renaissance Man is in charge and he does an awesome job!
The Christmas Classics garland and wreath adorning the entry is by Tree Classics. Grass green needles decorated with pine cones, red berry sprigs, and assorted leaf accents make the artificial greenery a cheerful addition to our entryway. The wreath and garland are pre-strung with clear LED lights.
The links for my friends’ beautiful Christmas decor are provided at the end of this post.
Naturally I had to add more color to the small porch. By layering a couple of rugs and stacking colorful gift boxes, it satisfied my requirements for merry and bright!
“Christmas is like candy; it slowly melts in your mouth sweetening every taste bud, making you wish it could last forever.”
-Richelle E. Goodrich
I found these cute gift boxes at Hobby Lobby. Wouldn’t they make great hat boxes, except I don’t own a hat!
A couple of lanterns add a nice ambiance at night!

And now be sure to visit Lidy, Shirley, and Mary for stunning Christmas inspiration!

Pam, Your front porch is very Merry indeed! I love your layering of rugs at your entry, adorable stacked boxes and cheery lantern. Your garland and wreath look so realistic and I love the grapevine winding throughout and the addition of your magnolia leaves! I still have several things to cross off my list so I’m not quite ready to put my feet up and enjoy the twinkling lights of the tree just yet. Wishing you a very Merry week. ♥
Thank you dear Mary. Hopefully we both will finish our to do list and relax❤️
Send those boxes to me, I have at least two dozen hats!! They look great on your porch, so festive!
Thanks Carole. Have a wonderful week!
Your entry looks wonderful Pam, and I am so used to seeing your fresh greenery, I just assumed your wreath and garland were real! They are so pretty! Love the magnolia leaves tucked in. The stack of boxes really makes everything pop and look so welcoming! I finally finished decorating yesterday, yay! Looking forward to a cozy afternoon curled up in the den as the storms come through, hopefully storms won’t be too bad…
Jenna
Thanks so much Jenna. Enjoy your cozy afternoon and hopefully no severe weather❤️
Pam, that’s a great place to use the wreath and garland. Together with all the additional elements, it’s a great look. And because the porch is protected, it should last years.
With so much rain in our recent forecasts, both past and future, it’s hard to want to do anything else but get cozy!
Thank you Rita! It is raining and really dark this morning. Possible severe weather is in the forecast for tonight.
I am loving the garland! The magnolia leaves are just perfect!! What great welcome to your gorgeous home.I’m definitely looking forward to putting my feet up but I am rather far behind in shopping, so today is my day to get that done in town and online if I can. Wish me luck!
Christine, thanks for your visit. Good luck on your shopping day!
Your door looks beautiful all decked out!
Thanks so much Penny!
Pam, your door looks so inviting. The rugs and hat boxes add color and merry to an already beautiful entry.
Thank you so much Dianne! Merry week to you ❤️
Pam, your porch is fabulous. The garland is so pretty and I do love the boxes and the way you have grouped them together. This is a busy week for everyone. You have given us something beautiful to begin our day and week. Merry days, dear friend.❤🎄❤
Thank you Sandra, Merry week to you ❤️
Your porch looks so merry and inviting! I thought it was all fresh greenery too. I love the stacked boxes tied with ribbon and the layering of the rugs. A+++ to you and Butch!!

It makes my heart happy to be with you ladies today!!!
Thank you Shirley. It makes me SO happy that you could join us❤️
I adore your entryway. It is so fun and festive. Oh, glorious!
Thank you Jeanie!
Pam, I love your merry and bright Christmas porch! It is absolutely beautiful with the lush garland and wreath. I love the hat boxes tied with pretty ribbon for an extra pop of color. I’m going to try to remember this next year when I decorate my porch. I was admiring the pretty boxes in Hobby Lobby, but couldn’t think of what I wanted to do with them. You have given me a wonderful idea! Merry Monday, sweet friend!!!
Thank you sweet Shannon. Enjoy your day❤️
A beautiful, welcoming Merry porch! The greenery’s so full & pretty. Love the boxes! I don’t have hats either but use them to tuck specific, delicate decorations into as I just love the colorful boxes. Your door mat is beautiful with the cardinal. Merry Monday Pam! Clara 🎅♥️🎄
Thanks so much Clara! Have a lovely day ❤️
Pam, what a cheerful holiday welcome you have created! Very merry, indeed. I love the berries and touches of grapevine woven in….a little bit of the country. The colors look wonderful with your font door, which is such a gorgeous color. You created a beautiful holiday spot! I wish you and your family a magical Christmas celebrating our precious Savior. Xo Lidy
Thank you dear Lidy and we are country dwellers 🥰Have a most wonderful week my friend ❤️
Absolutely gorgeous and so full of holiday spirit. It couldn’t be more perfect!
Thanks so much and wishing you a Merry week!
Amazing! Absolutely inspiring!Thank you,my sweet friend!
Thank you for stopping in Maristella!
SO pretty! I love the touches of gold! 💗 You and Mr are an excellent team! Happy Week!
Thanks so much Barbara! Wishing you a Merry week!
Santa spotting your front door while flying over, would pencil it in as a first stop on his Christmas
eve itinerary …so inviting. There is not an item that does contribute beautifully to the whole. I
envy the ladies who are reading/stitching/viewing with a cup of cocoa by the fireside. I never did
master of the art of not having to catch up…. It is dreary and raining and a great day for visiting
the entire Monday Morning Blooms presentation (once I catch up) Blessings to all.
Mary, i must get busy with my Christmas baking or Santa will be most disappointed on Christmas Eve. It is dreary, raining, and much too warm for December. Severe weather is in the forecast for tonight. Have a Merry Week!
Such a beautiful welcome to your home! And yes… I have been enjoying the trees and a fire in our fireplace here in AZ. It’s chilly today… it’s going to be a high of 61 but it’s windy and giving us a chill. At night it gets cold so our fire will be on. Yay!
Thank you Nancy. We have very warm temps for December and severe weather could come our way. Hopefully it won’t happen. Merry week my friend ❤️
Your porch should be in Veranda. Your renaissance man did a fabulous job .
Thank you so much Alice! Have a wonderful and merry week!
Our house lends itself to minimalism, so I thoroughly enjoy viewing the decor of so many of you. Yours is always creative and tasteful as well as perfect for whatever occasion.
Thank you Linda and wishing you a wonderful Christmas season!
Don’t own a hat?!!! Girl, we need to get you a hat for those hat boxes! =) I just donned my very merry red felted wool cloche tonight to go to the store amid the raindrops. I believe I was the only stylish raindrop dodger in the crowd! Its all in the attitude. And the attitude of your porch is definitely beautiful and stylishly festive. I Love It! Christmas Blessings to you and your readers, Allison
Allison, I have had hats before but never wore them. They are not my best accessory look! Thank you and wishing you a most joyous Christmas season!
Can certainly tell Christmas is here at your place!
Thank you Cath! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
The porch is so beautiful and welcoming. Love your decorations. Happy Holidays!

Good Morning Pam,
I am visiting a few of the loveliest ladies in bloggerville this morning and naturally you are one of them!
Southern charm and gentle elegance welcome everyone who visits you. These Christmas greens draped elegantly around your front entry are delightful as is the wreath. How I adore the color of your front door too. These hat boxes, are absolutely adorable and really add that extra touch!.
Looking forward to visiting you again soon and I am wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Jemma
Thank you so much sweet friend ❤️
So very pretty, Pam. I’m just curious…How do you hang your wreath? Do you use 3M? Wishing you the best Christmas…From a fellow Southerner! 🙂
