“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.”
Psalms 8:1
Hello dear friends. We are well into the new year and I am a little behind in posting the best of 2019. I have shared the Top Ten Tablescapes 2019, Top 5 Monday Morning Blooms 2019, and The Best Of Simple + Southern Sunday 2019. Today are the four remaining posts that did not fall into either one of those categories. At the bottom of this post you will see the top 10 list. You can click the highlighted link to view the original post.
I was not surprised that A Morning On The Hydrangea Farm made the top 10 list!
I introduced you to the owner of the farm, who has become a wonderful friend of mine. I had so many readers ask questions and many wanting to visit the farm.
We all seem to love hydrangeas!
A Romantic Mountaintop Hideaway has become our happy place!
Peace and quiet is found five thousand feet high where rustic meets luxury in the Great Smoky Mountains!
We look forward to a return visit this year!
I love our garden, even though it is a lot of work. I was happy to see My Garden Photo Journal make the list. Apricot drift roses make quite a show, and smell heavenly!
Vanilla-strawberry hydrangeas fill the summer with their big showy blooms!
I can count on daylilies for color in the garden!
September Gardening: Wows & Woes was the most viewed post of 2019. Now this was a surprise!
Perhaps it had something to do with this woe!

I enjoyed your round-ups Pam and the rest of the best! I remember these posts and enjoyed visiting the hydrangea farm, my virtual trip to The Swag and even the ‘possum on the half shell’ 🙂 Wishing you more wows than woes in 2020! ♥
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Mary. The woes continue with our pests. Last night as we were coming up the driveway, we saw one of our resident skunks. I never knew they had different coloring. This one is white with a black stripe. A few weeks ago one appeared on our porch and it was black with the white stripe, like I thought all skunks were colored. I am terrified they will spray, yikes!
Happy Thursday🦨🦨🦨

Thank you for your faithful visits!

Round ups are such fun and a great way to revisit the past year! I think your Wows and Woes was the most popular because we all love wows and we all also have garden woes 😂 I love all your posts Pam and Butch, they are always so upbeat and beautiful, but seeing your garden is always on my favorite list!
Jenna
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Jenna. Yes, the wows are great, but the woes can be a real pain. We press on😊

Such a beautiful roundup for this Thursday morning! All of the beautiful flowers especially made me smile. I’m already dreaming of spring. Enjoy your day, sweet friend!!!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Shannon. Have a wonderful day my friend!
marmeladegypsy says
I remember every single one. That mountaintop getaway was certainly a favorite and I forget if that’s an aardvark or armadillo but I loved seeing it!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Jeanie. It is an armadillo, yikes!
Sandra at Maison De Jardin says
Dear Pam, such a splendid array of beauty. Your garden is truly a piece of heaven. I know you are looking forward to seeing her again in all her magnificent glory. Have your seen the little armadillo character again? I do think I could pass on his presence in the garden, he doesn’t look very friendly.
The garden catalogs are arriving daily. January is such a good time for garden reflection and thinking of ideas for the new season. Wishing you a lovely day, dear friend.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Sandra. No sighting of the armadillo, just evidence. They are very nocturnal. The hubby is dealing with skunks now. Let’s hope they don’t spray!
Clara says
Pam, the beautiful colors were so welcome this cloudy morning. Ah, the hydrangeas! What a treat to see the hydrangea farm! I love the mountain retreat & the gorgeous scenery. Your garden is spectacular! The colorful roses, daylilies, hydrangeas are worth all the work as their blooms burst forth. Our garden woes never cease! From the tiniest aphids to the ugliest armadillo it seems your hard work is constantly being attacked! We enjoyed the round up & look forward to more wonderful posts in 2020. Have a great day! Clara ♥️
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Clara, thank you my dear. It seems that we now have a skunk population living on our property. I guess when you live in the country, it is to be expected. We were coming home last night and as we were pulling up our driveway, there is a white skunk with a black stripe. They also like to dig. Yikes, if they decide to spray!
Clara says
Oh no, skunks! It seems they’re everywhere. We see & smell them when they get hit on the road near us and we know they’re probably in the yard but thank goodness we haven’t seen them up close! Be careful & keep plenty of tomato juice nearby! Clara ❤️
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Clara, thank you dear one. I have heard that tomato juice works. Hopefully, we won’t have to deal with the spraying. Happy weekend, stay safe❤️

Enjoyed every post and looking forward to all the posts of 2020. May 2020 be the year to top all years with the blessings of God. Have a great day!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Bobbi. God bless you and hubby in 2020!
Heritage Hall says
Pam dear, just remember if that black and white guy sprays, think tomatoes…and lots of them.
What a glorious revisiting of your year’s highlight, made even more meaningful in memory.
Just got an order of paperwhites.. was not apprised they were coming from China of all places.
They looked somewhat moldy.. but I put them on pebbles in the blue/white porcelain bowls for
forcing. Candle lit/fingers crossed. Will ask about source next time. Our local nursery supply was
depleted so I went the mail order route….lesson learned. Repeated blessings to you and Butch
throughout 2020, dear friend.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Mary. I can’t believe that your paperwhites came from China, that is crazy. A friend ordered me a cute Christmas tee and it was sent from China. Hopefully, your paperwhites will bloom, I love their fragrance, Butch not so much. Blessings to you all year❤️

What fabulous Round Ups you have had! These were favorites of mine as well!
And let’s hope the Armadillo stays away!
Happy Week to you!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you my friend. Have a wonderful weekend Nancy
Roxanne Bernard says
Pam, what a glorious roundup of the past year! I remember each and every one. I read above about your skunk woes. You might want to order some Skunk Off Shampoo “just in case” from Amazon. We have skunks too which our pups chase with great enthusiasm. I’ve had to bathe them and then myself with that shampoo many times. It really works, unlike the tomato juice folklore. I’m a day late in writing and see bad weather is heading through the South, so stay safe, my sweet friend.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Roxanne. I need to order the shampoo. Yes, bad weather is expected tomorrow. I haven’t seen if it is heading your way, be safe dear friend❤️
