“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”
Colossians 3:14
Happy Thursday sweet friends! As the January days are whizzing by, Valentine’s Day will be here before we turn around. It is a sweet celebration that I look forward to each February. I am turning around ideas in my head for a special Valentine’s Day table, so I took a journey through the archives for a little inspiration!
Placemats with checks and hearts and colors of red, white, and pink set a table I named Love One Another…
…it is a day we can show our love for those who need a little encouragement!
“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”
-Mother Teresa
A table with softer shades of color and little pops of red show the softer side of Valentine’s!
You might notice there were two different centerpieces…a silver teapot filled with lovely blooms and a dough bowl with pink and white hydrangeas.
“There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart.”
-Jane Austen
How sweet it is to have a table with little treats…
…cupcakes, macarons, and chocolate kisses!
“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.”
-Charles M. Schulz
A memory of a romantic evening cruising down the Seine River with views of the Eiffel Tower gave me an idea…
…with Paris in mind and those Valentine X’s and O’s,…
…a table was set with a cast iron Eiffel Tower, roses and baby’s breath, and books I have read about Paris!
Black tie and red roses sound a bit formal…
…no need to worry, jeans are always preferred at our house!
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant”
1 Corinthians 13:4
“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
1 Corinthians 13:7
Have you made plans for Valentine’s Day, will you dine out or stay at home? Thank you for your visits and gracious comments. Wishing you a delightful day!

Your tablescapes are always so amazing. Love them all.
Thank you Marty!
January is moving so quickly, I am having trouble keeping up with the date! So many beautiful tables filled with delectable goodies, dear Pam. I’m sure EM is happy to help with those. Paris is my very favorite city and is definitely the most romantic, so a Paris themed table was brilliant! Wouldn’t a Nutella and banana crepe be delicious with coffee right now (I’m pretty sure I ate my weight in those Over There!).
Roxanne, a Nutella and banana crepe sounds perfect anytime. I can eat Nutella from the jar!
Dear Pam, this was a beautiful post – from beginning to end. Your red dining room did set the stage for a perfect Valentines dinner. I love all the tables, but that black and white tie was so striking. It is formal, but gorgeous.
You are right, January is flying on by – I am still waiting for my long cold winter, as is my stack of books. Wishing you a lovely day, sweet friend.❤
Thank you Sandra. I am a romantic, so I love Valentine’s!
I love Valentine’s Day, it is the bright spot in gray winter, and a signal that it will soon be spring! All your tables are gorgeous Pam and I love the tulips…I have been tempted to buy tulips lately when I’ve seen them at Publix, they are such a fun flower with their droopy ways! HHjr’s birthday is Feb 14 so we always do something special, I can’t believe it’s less than a month away!! You have definitely put me in a Valentine mood!
Jenna
Thank you Jenna. Valentine’s Day has to be a fun birthday!
Valentine’s is only a month away too Pam! Of course it’s nothing like planning for Christmas but I do love to add a little touch of Valentine’s day to my life in my home. Love all the tables. I was simple this season with V-day. And…I knew I best put out a few things because it will be Christmas before I know it! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
You are so right Cindy. The days move swiftly!
Oh Pam, these are all so beautiful! I love the hydrangeas in the silver teapot complimented by the pretty pink dishes. The red table with the tulips is also stunning. I am swooning over that pretty china. There is not a table that you have showcased that isn’t absolutely gorgeous! I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is less than a month away! January is flying by! Enjoy your day, sweet friend!!!
Thank you for the Valentine love sweet friend!
I love your ideas Pam! Hopefully my Christmas will be down by then!
I love them all but of course the Eiffel Tower. I think everyone who goes to Paris chooses that one. It’s the only one that looks kind of elegant and simple and well made. You see a lot of tacky towers there — I love this one (and have it, too!).
Paris has my romantic heart!
Beautiful tables sweet Pam! They’re all so pretty & romantic! Your flowers are so colorful but I must admit the hydrangeas in the dough bowl are a favorite! I do love your velvet heart nestled on a bed of green moss. We normally stay in @ supper
as I’m not much on crowds. We sometimes go out @ lunch or celebrate a little early to avoid the crowds. I can’t believe how quickly January has gone by! I’ve been trying to organize things a bit better & deep clean the house. It’s such a chore but the results are so rewarding. Enjoy your day! Clara ❤️
Thank you Clara. Lunch is a good idea, I don’t like crowds either.
Wow what a treasure of great tablescapes! I’d be hard pressed to pick out a favorite!
Thank you Liz!
Pam everything is so lovely. Thank You for sharing.
Marilyn and Marion
Thank you Marion and Marilyn!
I’d love to share a cupcake and a cup of tea with you, friend!
That would be perfect!
What a beautiful round up of great Valentine posts! Do you ever feel like what can I do new? I am feeling that.
It is so warm here. It was 68 degrees very early this morning.I could not believe that it was 15 degrees cooler in Huntsville at time same time.
Have a great week.
Thank you Bonnie. Yes, I do have times that I don’t feel very inspired and wonder what to do next!
I’m not real crazy for Valentine decor but your tables sure are pretty Pam. I tend to shy away from red other than at Christmastime, and don’t do much pink at all (except with preppy green, as in Greenbrier). The walls in my office are deep red, like brick, and it feels neutral. That said, I have trouble getting inspired for Valentine decor. We typically go out for a late lunch at a favorite restaurant.
I understand, we all like different things. Lunch out is a good idea.
Oh, my, your talents never cease to amaze me! SO elegant and lovely – each and every one! I can’t wait to see what you come up with for this year’s Valentine’s Day. I think my favorite one – and it was hard to pick – is the black tie and roses. Just breathtaking! God bless you, sweet friend!
Thank you dear friend ❤️
Thank you for sharing this sweet round of table eye candy Pam! I always enjoy having a virtual seat no matter what the holiday or occasion! 💕

Thank you Katie. Enjoy your week!
Pam, your tables are so elegant and beautiful. You certainly inspire us to make every day special.
Thank you Dianne. ❤️
We sure could use a little more LOVE around. Lovely table and though I’m tired of red, this is so darn cheerful..but then checks are always a plus!
Thanks so much Sandi!
Your treats look amazing! Red roses & baby breath are my favorite!
Lovely post Pam. To answer your question, we’ll be staying at home & enjoy our time together over a delicious meal & movie. ♥
Bless you,
Jennifer
Thank you dear Jennifer. Your plans sound perfect!
You certainly put your heart into the creation of St Valentine tablescapes…so beautiful. We sent
our Daughter and Fiance to London/Paris for their engagement yea long ago and you have given me a wondrous idea. I am going to send them an Eiffel tower like yours with all the trimmings to make something even more special of this Valentine’s Day, if their subsequent three Children and oversized dog will allow for the romance….Good luck ~
How beautifully you share your love through this post….
Thank you Mary. Wow, how nice for your daughter and fiancé to receive that trip to London/Paris for their engagement!
I love the Valentine tablescape. You have a wonderful sense of design.
Thanks so much Sheryl, I was an interior decorator before I retired.
All the tables are so lovely, Pam, I think I’ll choose the soft palette one as my favorite. And I love the playful use of candy and cupcakes. Treats always add a little something 🙂
