“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”
2 Corinthians 9:6
Hello sweet friends. Thank you so much for your heartfelt condolences on the passing of Butch’s dad. We read each one and they were so kind and comforting. His dad will definitely be missed, yet through the sadness we are reminded of God’s goodness and his sovereign hand in all things!
I had not planned to post a tablescape this week, but yesterday I decided it would be enjoyable to pull out the dishes and see what I could come up with. I knew I wanted color…and I think I have a healthy dose of it on this table!
With yesterday being a holiday, I didn’t have the girls so it was a perfect day to set up a tablescape.
Grocery stores roses, carnations, and alstroemeria brought some much needed flower therapy on a cold winter day!
Tracy Porter’s hand-painted “Artesian Road” dinnerware graces the table. I purchased this at least fifteen years ago from Horchow. Unfortunately, it is now discontinued. I did check on Replacements website and they do have it, but it is quite expensive.
The small vases are also Tracy Porter and they coordinate with the dinnerware.
…and salad plates are different patterns, as are the soup bowls! I love the pattern mix!
Resin-handle tortoise flatware is still available at Horchow!
Water hyacinth placemats add texture.
Stemware was a find at Tuesday Morning many years ago. The napkins pair perfectly with the glasses.

Dear Pam, such a bright and cheerful post on a cold winter morning. Certainly warms my heart. The table is beautiful and your Tracy Porter’s “Artesian Road” is so pretty. I don’t know if you noticed how the lovely color of your dining room provides a stunning background for your gorgeous tablescape Perfection!
Wishing you a wonderful day and week, sweet friend.❤
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Sandra. I had not planned on a tablescape this week, but I needed some color on the table. Enjoy this cold day!
Roxanne Bernard says
Dearest Pam, that table is a breath of color on this very cold and dreary morning. I have never seen a pitcher like that and love the different patterns in the place setting. Tablescapes, doing laundry, etc are a wee bit therapeutic during difficult times. All of you remain in my prayers.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you sweet Roxanne. My girls will be here shortly and they are wonderful therapy. Please know we have not forgotten the photos of the church. Have a most delightful day.
It is 24 degrees here this morning!
Roxanne Bernard says
Pam, please don’t fret over those photos! The committee can’t even agree on an architect yet!! The good news is that our directive from our ministers is to build a traditional style Anglican Church…hooray!! I prayed for a church that actually looks like a church.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Roxanne, every new church is like a big box and inside looks like a theater. I am thrilled yours will be traditional. I have been on those committees, hopefully everyone will come to agree!

Wow, color and more color. I love the little unique vases. I remember the china from Horchow and recall that I wanted them but never went through with buying it. What a treasure you have. And it’s true that Replacements is expensive but I have used them to find something I needed. If you have never visited their showrooms it is a wonderland of china and crystal and silver.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Alice. Replacements is wonderful for something you need. I have been to their showroom, but needed more time. Have a delightful day ❤️

Pam, this s the perfect thing to brighten a cold and dreary winter’s day. We have had so much rain and more is on its way. I need a little sunshine, and this gorgeous tablescape provided it! I have always admired this dinnerware when you use it. It’s colors are so stunning and the sweet bud vases and florals you chose tie back beautifully. So pretty, sweet friend!

What a lively table filled with color and texture to soothe your soul. When I first looked at the pitcher I thought it a glass vase filled with redhots! I am sorry for your loss. We’ve had one a few days ago, too.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you.

Pam, It’s delightful to see your colorful table this cold morning! I love your dishes & coordinating vases. I just love the beautiful colors. The napkins look like they are in the same color palette of your walls. After a particularly stressful week that you experienced week, just doing something you enjoy is such a treat it seems. It’s certainly a treat for us! May God continue to bless you and your family during this time of transition. Our prayers continue for you and Butch. Enjoy your day! Clara ♥️
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you dear Clara. It was nice to just set the table in happy colors. ❤️

Dear friend, it is true that today for lack of color we cannot complain … Very good table, full of color and with beautiful dishes.
I like the floral result with the decoration of the dishes that are beautiful. but the set is very well thought out because, even having a lot of color, the feeling is not spring, it is cheerful autumn or winter … (more or less …) You are an expert in combining colors and floral ornaments. . . love them …
Today it is very cold here, so much that I have not left because I do not want to catch a cold. That has given me a fantastic time to do things I can never do: sort papers, photos, drawers … etc
with love

Abrazos,
Pam

I prayed for your family Pam. Loss is hard isn’t it? But when we know that they are forever with their King of Kings and Lord of Lords it sure makes the loss so much sweeter doesn’t it? The tablescape is so lovely and those colors cheered me up just looking at them. Love those goblets too. Happy Week to you dear Pam. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
