“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Galatians 5:22-26
The birds of winter on Lake Gadsden love to hang out in these trees. A gregarious bunch!
Our roses were blooming last weekend but the event was short lived when a few 20 degree nights moved in mid-week!
Princess 1 likes jewelry and caring for babies and…
…Princess 2 likes to demolish P J’s magazines!
If there was some way to know how many tons of goods have passed across the river on these rails…
Still getting the job done! Thanks Appalachian Digital Media for sharing!
We are getting anxious for the outdoors to “spring” to life!
This seems to fit a cold January evening perfectly!
It never hurts to bring out a little color to cheer things up!

Today I have a relaxed day … I take the opportunity to see the beautiful things my friends write. The first thing is that I really liked the appointment of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. I think there is a majority of people in the world so forgotten about the Faith that such a thing does not sound to them … It is necessary to show it from time to time so that they know it.
Always beautiful everything you leave us in this Blog so appreciated by me.
Sundays are special: beautiful nature, appetizing meals, adorable girls … Yes, everything that everyday life has and that, because it is every day, you should not think that it does not matter … That is the secret: to live all the days Life as if it were the first day of our lives and everything is new and beautiful … because it is.
Thank you for such a beautiful day.
With love

Pam ❤️

Dear Pam, beautiful words and photos. All of the photos are wonderful – but the girls are the best. Ella Mae is so dear and such a little lady. Emma, with her bright blue eyes, is a busy little soul. New shoes for you, come spring. You will need them to keep up with her. Although, I imagine Ella Mae is a big help.
Wishing you a beautiful day and week ahead. You will be seeing spring soon in your world. ❤

Thank you Sandra. The girls keep me hopping. Have a beautiful week!

Pam, The sun bursting forth is spectacular! I love the traditional church architecture. The princesses are so cute and growing up so fast. Chili is always a favorite. I serve mine with fresh fried corn tortillas too. The nature shots are so enjoyable. Trains are a backbone of our economy along with trucks. Those tracks have hauled so many tons & to think of variety of freight! A very enjoyable composition of pics. Enjoy your day Pam & Butch! Clara ❤️

Thank you dear Clara! Have a wonderful week.

Good Morning Dear Pam!
Every Day Living at its best! I bet that rose was a treasure to see in January. We too had a bloom or two a week ago… now I must wait a wee bit for more to bloom.
Oh those Princesses are just too darling! I have a funny story. When I was a little girl I loved, loved magazines. Especially CATALOGS! Do you remember how big they were? Anyhoo, when my Mom and Dad took me to church… where I really needed to stay quiet… she gave me a Catalog! I could look at them for hours. As I got older (not much) … I had a file of things I wanted for my home, office and yard. Even toys for my kids. Mind you, I was probably 5-7 years old. I had my own Pinterest files… way back then! I know I made you giggle on that one.
Beautiful captures of you beautiful Everyday Living!
Happy Sunday sweet Pam! ❤️

The perfect Sabbath respite with Pam and Butch…The essence of a good soul’s aspirations,
the fruits of the Holy Spirit…we can at least try to hit that mark in this unsettled world and let that
light shine among us, as you both do so generously. The love they are given and return just
radiates from those precious, little ones. The pictures of the tracked trestles with slats of weathered timber are so nostalgic…one can almost hear the haunting blare of the train whistle.
The sleeping garden, the Church façade, the wonders of nature’s offerings through a skilled
lens and Pam’s creative floral and culinary prowess make this a post to savor and revisit through
the day. Bless you both for this Sunday gift.

Thank you dear Mary. Love, joy, peace, patience are much needed by me, and what I need to model. I fall so short and thankful for God’s Grace. Happy week ❤️

It will be awhile before spring breaks forth here. But it’s always spring right here!

Pam and Butch, every single picture today was spectacular in its own special way! I especially loved the long shot down the railroad tracks. Princess 1 needs to slow down on her growing…she looks every inch a young lady now instead of a toddler. A young couple who attend my church came today with three very young foster siblings they just got (in addition to their own 2 adopted children). I think the whole group is under the age of 6, so special prayers for this wonderful family.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Roxanne. The young couple at your church certainly have their hands full, but hearts full of love! May God bless them.
