What is your favorite time of the day? We love late afternoon and into the twilight time. If we could somehow pause time and make it last a little longer!

Early morning light is my favorite time of day. Everything is fresh, the flowers haven’t wilted due to the heat and the grass is so green and I haven’t wilted from the chorus of the day. Now if I had two princesses to help me, I would pluck up, no wilting going on then. Your two are so precious. Please pray that our country will not fail to turn to God and ask Him for help during this time of unrest. So sad to see the hate being pushed on us.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Alice. Butch and I are praying, my heart is heavy. Sending love and hugs my friend.

What beautiful varieties of lilies and what sisterly love I see. These two girls would brighten the darkest day. I think I love the early mornings the most. I sit in silence before God and have my most intimate time with Him before the day gets too rushed. I know we all have a lot on our hearts given the state of our world. It is difficult to block it out sometimes. Thank you for your words of peace and the beauty you deliver. I wish the world could find this peace.

Thank you Dianne. Blessings always

Have a wonderful day. Your post has given me calm and peace amid the roaring waves and wind literally here
this morning. Along with the unrest and danger in our country it is nice to read scripture and see God’s beauty in the flowers.
Your flowers are so beautiful. The girls look so sweet in their dresses alike.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Bonnie. Have a safe trip home.

Oh, those precious girls! Miss Ella Mae looks like the perfect big sister! All of your lilies look so pretty. I’m wanting to try some of these other colors. I have the yellow ones, but would love to plant some of the pink varieties. I have the same petunias, and so far I am really enjoying them. I just hope they can survive the terrible heat we have been having. We went from a nice cool spring into hot summer. Such a beautiful post this morning! Happy Sunday, sweet friend!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Shannon. I worked outside all day yesterday and it was so hot. Have a lovely Sunday my friend.

Beautiful post this morning, Pam. And, those girls are absolutely dear beyond words. Ella Mae truly loves her little sister, you can just see it in her. They are precious in their matching dresses.
We do not have dayliles in bloom yet, it is July before we see them. Yours are stunning. We are starting to see summer temperatures, so summer blooms will arrive soon.
Enjoy your day, dear Pam. Many blessings, my friend.❤

Early morning is my favorite time of day, although I can see why late afternoon into twilight is yours! Love Ella Mae’s french braid, and Emma’s hair is coming in now. I remember it took quite a while for EM’s. They’re so adorable. Happy Sunday, Pam & Butch. Praying for calm to blanket our nation this week.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Yes, a blanket of calm is what we are praying for. Have a great week Rita!

The lilies of the field can barely compete with those two blossoms beaming back at us with their beautiful smiles. What a blessing they must be to you. Twilight is a tranquil time to garner the threads of the day and weave the blessings for which one bows one’s head in gratitude and prayer. May we never lose sight of the tranquility of order that He deemed as our legacy, if we but embrace and follow His admonishments. Those unwilling to do so, to become their own best self in Him,
leave behind turmoil and destruction. But His promise of peace can be found in the midst of this unrest and dismay … just as your beautiful garden evidences faith and labor in its outcome. Many thanks for it all.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
The girls bring me so much joy, they are so sweet. I love your description of twilight. Wishing you a lovely week!

Hi Pam, I love the first photo of the center of your garden, it is as if it were mine … I have seen it born and grow year after year and it is becoming more beautiful. Speaking of beauty, girls are beautiful. I’m surprised to see the little one so old. They are two very beautiful girls …
That last sunset picture invites you to dream.

Beautiful as always. I was wondering if you keep a notebook or garden journal of some type with all of the names of your plants? I feel like I should do that, but haven’t found a good way to do so. Happy Sunday. I’m enjoying lots of Tropical storm rain. Cozy!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
I do keep a garden journal, it helps me know what worked and what didn’t. We are supposed to get rain today from the tropical depression. Have a lovely week, Leslie Anne.

Those two sweet little flowers are so precious, they represent our future. Does your daughter-in-love make their matching outfits? She is so talented! My favorite time of day is early in the morning, watching the sun come up on our pond. I call it the Magic Hour and wish I knew how to paint it. Everything is calm and fresh, and it’s is the perfect time to read my devotions.

Thank you Roxanne. My DIL makes some of their outfits, but she didn’t make these. Wishing you a wonderful week!
