βFinally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.β

Hello sweet friends. It is Wednesday evening as I am writing this while the states of Louisiana and Texas are bracing for a catastrophic hurricane. I am praying for all those who are in harmβs way. I hope you will join me in praying not only for those impacted by the hurricane, but also for those affected by the wildfires in California. I pray for our nation!
It is my desire to enjoy every moment, every day, and every season, whether the seasons of life or the seasons of nature. I have to admit by the end of August I begin to look forward to autumn. Our summers in the South can be extremely hot and humid. With that in mind, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit some of my favorite autumn tablescapes!

Celebrating harvest time in the garden!
A charcuterie board made from old European barn wood was the base for a simple centerpiece!
What would fall be without pumpkins? A blooming pumpkin takes the spotlight…
…paired with dramatic pumpkin plates!
I love blue and white for autumn…
…or for any season. It is timeless!
Under our old oak tree remains one of my faves!
I should really do another tablescape under the oak. In spite of the time and work, it was fun and worth the effort!
Welcoming autumn with the same plaid tablecloth that I used with the blue and white tablesetting…
…and it looks completely different by simply changing the dinner plates
A box of autumn is filled with flowers and clippings from the garden.
A table setting that is abundant with autumn color!
Repurposing a shawl as a tablecloth was a great way to welcome October, my favorite month!
A dough bowl filled with pumpkins and used as a centerpiece makes it easy for the hostess.
Using the box again for a simple autumn arrangement, this table was set up for appetizers in the garden.
Cold apple cider and a cheese tray were presented on an antique quilt! I love using vintage, antiques, or things with memories attached!
Are you ready for autumn, or still embracing the last days of summer? Wishing everyone a joy-filled day.

What a beautiful round up of autumn tables Pam! ‘Under the Oak Tree’ is still my favorite of all your fall tables! It has been so hot and humid here that I can’t even entertain the thought of setting a table outdoors. Fall can’t get here quick enough for me. π
Keeping all of those in the path of the hurricane in our thoughts and prayers. Happy Thursday β₯

Pam, each and everyone of these tables is absolutely gorgeous! They belong in a magazine! Like you, I try to savor every minute of each season. However, the sweltering heat of late August has me anticipating autumn and cooler temperatures. I hope you have a most blessed day, dear friend!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Your are a sweetheart, Shannon. Have a lovely Friday!

Thanks so much Penny. Happy Friday!
Sandra at Maison De Jardin says
Pam, each one is so pretty it is hard to select a winner. However, I am partial to the one under the oak and the one with the lovely quilt.
I, too, pray for all those whose lives are in danger from the hurricane. These are scary times when one resides along the coast. And, the wildfires are so freighting as well.
This has been an extremely hot summer here in West Virginia, I am looking forward to cooler temperatures and our beautiful hills wearing her best dress. Wishing you a beautiful day and weekend ahead, dear friend.β€
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Sandra. Fall will be a welcomed friend. Our heat index was 103 yesterday. Happy Friday my friend β₯οΈ

A virtual visual Autumn feast ..each a masterpiece of creativity and placement. Joining with others in prayer for those in the
path of storms or fire β¦ also for those brave souls in the acts of protecting, recovering and restoring. Soon the heat of Summer will dissipate and we can relish the crisp, cool air of autumn at the pumpkin farm. In the meantime, may the Lord
hold all in His gentle embrace this day.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much Mary. Are you expecting bad weather today?
Clara says
Just beautiful Pam, each and every one! We are looking forward to fall as well. We’re praying for all those affected by the hurricane and fires. Between Covid19 and natural disasters it’s been a stressful year but with God’s promises we are reassured that He’s in control. Hope you don’t have tornadoes or flooding from the hurricane. We’re gearing up for the remnants to pass Friday and Saturday. Have a wonderful rest of the day! Clara β₯οΈ

I love fall colors! Fall welcomes in winter!! I do not like winter. I have a confession, I love table settings, but was feeling sad because we now have a small place and don’t do the big dinners. Well, then I had a wake up moment, I only need to take a small portion of your design to re-create the setting.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Yes, Nonie. You can make one or two beautiful place settings. It doesnβt have to be a table for a large crowd. Happy Friday!
the Painted Apron says
They are all so stunning Pam, and I love the touches of copper you used in several. Yay for pumpkin season! I actually saw some for sale at a local garden market when I drove by yesterday! Waking up to a gloomy rainy day this morning really makes me feel like fall is on the way… Your beautiful garden tables are bringing sunshine to my day!
Jenna
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much Jenna. I havenβt seen any pumpkins yet. A couple of weeks ago I was in Birmingham for an appointment, we went to Trader Joeβs. The line was so long waiting to get in that we left. I hope I can find pumpkins this year!
Maria says
We almost wish for the early days of autumn when we see your beautiful tablescapes in beautiful settings. You have inspired us to start thinking colors, dinnerware, centerpieces, and to start planning gatherings in the next few months. Letβs give summer a big send-off first I guess, and hope for some cooler, tranquil summer days before the crispness of autumn sets in. Letβs enjoy looking forward to the change and variety of seasons! Itβs a miracle waiting to happen.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you Maria. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Melodie says
These are really lovely Pam. Love how they are each unique even though some of the elements are the same. I love the copper touches, they add sparkle and warmth. The green and amber glasses are perfect for fall. I will be back to this page again for sure. Thanks for sharing with us.
I hope it cools down for you soon. I live in CA and though not directly impacted by the fires, have been living with extreme heat and smoky air. I can’t wait for autumn and a little bit of relief. Praying for the people in harm’s way of the hurricanes. They have been through Katrina and now this one.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much Melodie. It is nice meeting you and reading your sweet comments.
I canβt imagine having to smell the smoke day in and out. I know I am ready for autumn. I do hope you return to visit. Wishing you a lovely week!
Karen (Back Road Journal) says
One prettier than the next…I’m sharing them on several of my Pinterest boards. I can’t imagine how long it must take you to set up, photograph and then put away your tablescapes, especially the ones outside.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thanks so much Karen. It does take a lot of time, but I enjoy the process. Have a wonderful week!
Sarah says
