Happy Tuesday dear friends. I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend. My sweet Renaissance Man grilled his famous burgers with all the trimmings, set the table, and did all the cleanup. What a special treat for me, he is definitely a keeper! Our son, daughter-in-love, two princesses, and the little prince joined us for a very special afternoon!
“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.”
Proverbs 29:25
I love setting tables outside whether in the garden, on the patio, or at the picnic table. We have had so much rain this spring, it has been hard to find a dry day for an alfresco tablescape. I searched the archives and found eight of my favorite outdoor tables. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and let’s go outside!

A stoneware crock is filled with summer flowers cut from my garden…sunflowers, zinnias, and limelight hydrangeas!
A favorite seersucker tablecloth adds to the colorful table. Y’all know I love color!
The picnic table nestled in a shaded area is a perfect spot for a summer alfresco meal!
A vintage Waverly sheet serves as a table covering.
A beach-style setting of hydrangeas and seashells is one of my all-time favorites…
…perhaps it is the funny happenings that were involved!
July was blooming everywhere! Garden flowers were placed in my only piece of MacKenzie-Childs, a “Flower Market” canister!
Roses were blooming on the April Cornell dinnerware, and the limelights and vanilla strawberry hydrangeas were showing out in the garden!
Blue and white on a summer’s night…
…makes for an elegant table!
A picnic in the country…
…with lots of memories attached!
A patriotic patio table…
…with a red, white, and blue mix of patterns and dinnerware! Have you made your Memorial Day plans?
An urn of summer flowers highlights a table set for dessert!
I hope you enjoyed a look back at some of my favorite alfresco tables.
Thank you for your visits and gracious comments. Wishing you a beautiful spring week!

All beautiful Pam! I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite! I adore your collection of AC linens and you have me wishing I had a beautiful vintage sheet to repurpose as a tablecloth. ♥
Thank you Mary. I am glad I kept that sheet!
Very enjoyable to view your alfresco tables this morning. Each one has so many pretty elements. You bring them alive with your design style.
I’m glad you had a great Mother’s Day.
Thanks Bonnie, enjoy your day!
Pam, I am a Gemini so I get to choose two favorites, lol. I love the more formal blue & white and the easygoing casual style with the seersucker tablecloth! But, they are ALL gorgeous!
I just re-read the happenings on the hydrangeas & seashell tablescape…..funny, and so true. I sure hope I don’t ever have to report an ER visit from standing on a ladder for a bird’s eye view shot!
What we do as bloggers!
Thanks so much Rita! Enjoy your day’
So many beautiful settings, it would make it hard pressed to choose only one favorite! The patriotic themed table is especially vibrant and a definite contender. Our crazy spring weather here in S.C. is dipping into the 50s for a high tomorrow! But I see my zinnias seedlings coming up, so summer must surely be coming….when it is 100 degrees and 1000% humidity, I will long for a cool day!
Thank you Roxanne. We are experiencing a cooler spring with lots of rain. Yes, I hope to remember not to complain with the heat and humidity that will certainly come during the summer! Enjoy your day…
Pam, All of your al fresco tablescapes are beautiful! I can’t pick a favorite but the seersucker tablecloth is perfect for an outside setting. I love seersucker! The floral arrangements and decorations are so pretty. I really enjoyed this compilation. Enjoy your week sweet friend. Clara❤️
Thank you Clara. Have a wonderful day, it is raining here.
Pam, these are all so lovely. I am especially fond of the blue and white. But I so love blue and white. However, you forgot my very most favorite and that is the enchanting one under the old oak tree. I know it must have been a tremendous amount of work but it was so beautiful, it stays in my mind.
Wishing you a beautiful week and I do hope this finds you and Butch feeling better.
Thank you Sandra. I think everyone loves blue and white! I really should do another table under the old oak tree. Have a lovely week!
Pam, every table is so lovely, and I don’t think I could choose a favorite (although I do have a fondness for blue and white and a big passion for color! Your tablecloths are always especially lovely. Happy week!
Thank you Jeanie. I am glad we share a love of color!
As aways, beautiful tablescapes. I pinned the red white and blue ones for inspiration for these patriotic holidays coming up.
Thank you Linda and thanks for pinning!
They all are wonderful! Blessings.
Thank you dear one!
They are all favorites Pam, but I miss your dinning room table settings. Your Mothers Day celebration sounds delightful. My neighbors 8 yr daughter came over to borrow two tea cups so she could have tea with her mom. She went home with the cups plus sauces, dessert plates, sugar cubes and croissants I had on hand. The dad sent a picture of them having tea with the 8 years old holding her cup with pinky in perfect place. So sweet!
How sweet Alice for you to send all of your lovelies with your little neighbor so she could have a tea party with her mom!
What a perfect Mother’s Day! Nothing is better than grilling hamburgers surrounded by family! Your outdoor tables are always stunning Pam, I’m hoping Saturday will be wonderful for some Al fresco dining!
Jenna
Thank you Jenna! Can you believe we are going to have nights in the 40’s in May?
This has been a crazy Spring for sure!
Beautiful Pam! I’m so happy you had a lovely Mother’s Day!
That seersucker tablecloth is always a favorite when you use it.
And you be careful when photographing… no trips to the ER!
Happy Tuesday!
Thank you Nancy! Oh my, hopefully no trips to ER! Rita’s comment was funny!
I enjoyed her comment! 😀
Beautiful Pam! I’m so happy you had a lovely Mother’s Day! My favorite is the Blue & white as you may know I’m a blue & white gal.
I hope you’re both recovering well now.
Bless you sweet friend,
Jennifer
We all love blue and white. Thank you, Jennifer and we are feeling better! ♥️
Pam, you have so many gorgeous tables I can only imagine how difficult it was to narrow them down to the ones you have shared with us today. Each and every one is absolutely beautiful! We have had a lot of rain and cloudy days, too. I’m so ready for lots of sunshine! It sounds like you had a most delightful Mother’s Day. Grilled hamburgers sound delicious! Wishing you a most happy day, my sweet friend!
Thank you Shannon! Wishing you a wonderful Thursday!
They are all so beautiful, I would have a hard time choosing which one I like best!
Thank you Penny!
I could never pick a fav because they all are beautiful table settings Pam. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

I’m glad to hear you had such a nice Mother’s Day! Mine was nice, too. All of your table settings are beautiful!!
Thanks so much Michelle! Happy Friday…
It is so wonderful to look back over these eight tablescapes – my favorite one is the hydrangeas and seashells. Oh, my, it is just a beautiful thing to behold and all of it just fits together SO well! It is always such a solace to come here to your blog and find encouragement. I save your posts until I have time to really absorb them. They are such a blessing.
So many to choose from. Love seeing table alfresco and yours do not disappoint. With your garden in the background, the flowers and beautiful table styling, it’s win win.
Thanks so much, Linda! As you know gardening is hard work. Have a wonderful week…
I so love them all….I still gasp when I see the arrangement of the limelights and that gorgeous shell box!
Thank you Shirley!
I’m so torn between the hydrangeas w/ shells and the hydrangeas with the blue and white– both are just fabulous!!
Thanks so much for your visit!
