Happy Thursday! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is three weeks from today?
“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.”
Psalm 9:1
Thanksgiving is definitely a favorite holiday for our family. Have you made your plans, decided on a menu, figured out your table styling? I dug into the archives for a round-up of Thanksgiving tablescapes and centerpieces. I hope you will find ideas and inspiration!

This is one of my favorite Thanksgiving tables from a couple of years ago…a harvest table!
Vintage Johnson Brothers Harvest Time dishware is a cherished autumn and Thanksgiving pattern!
This centerpiece might look difficult, but it is actually easy. Consider it a table runner of natural elements. By gathering fruits, vegetables, leaves and clippings from your yard or garden you can create your very own harvest centerpiece without using flowers as I did. Use your own creativity and imagination, I promise it is simple!
Williams Sonoma still-life inspired salad plates give pops of color to a scaled down tablesetting!
For the centerpiece, an Italian tray holds velvet pumpkins. You could use any container…basket, dough bowl, etc. and fill it with faux pumpkins or the real ones for a lovely centerpiece!
The embroidered table runner is a memento from a trip to the Greek Isles. You might use a scarf or a folded throw as a table runner, think outside the box!
A plaid throw was placed on the diagonal for interest!
Grocery store flowers fill a tureen. Quick and easy!
You often see me repeat dish ware, but I try to show it in different ways!
Many years our weather has been warm enough to enjoy Thanksgiving outdoors. My favorite combination of plaid chargers, Spode Woodland dinner plates, and Royal Stafford turkey salad plates have graced many of my Thanksgiving tables! Tip: Buy seasonal salad plates and use with your everyday white dishes. I rarely buy dinner plates; salad plates are less expensive and easier to store.
Ginkgo leaves were harvested from my yard to scatter on the table. If you live in the South, where autumn comes later, many trees may still have colorful leaves that could be used on a Thanksgiving table.
For an easy and inexpensive centerpiece, grocery store spider mums are simply placed in a stoneware pitcher! Anyone can do this!
Boxes can be found at Hobby Lobby, Kirkland’s, and on line at great prices. They can be used over and over again for centerpieces. The box is filled with a couple of pillar candles, goldenrod, blush nandina, beautyberry, and rosemary all clipped from my yard. Again, use your creativity!
If you entertain in a big way for Thanksgiving, you could make takeaway bouquets. Inexpensive vases could be used for your guests to take with them as they leave!
Using a charcuterie board, I placed copper mugs filled with garden clippings and taper candles for a simple and rustic centerpiece. Begin thinking on an easy and inexpensive centerpiece, it takes a small amount of imagination. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive to be beautiful. I hope you found inspiration and ideas that you can incorporate for your Thanksgiving table!
I will be joining twenty-two table stylists next Tuesday for a Thanksgiving Blog Hop. Be sure to join me.

Thank you dear Pam!
Thank you, Nancy. Have a wonderful weekend!
All of your settings are beautiful and inspiring!
Thank you, Penny. Enjoy your weekend&
These are all gorgeous and a wonderful look back. I really do need to get a box which means shopping which I really don’t like to do! Kirkland’s is far too heavy on the potpourri and I always leave wheezing! But they really so set things off so well. This really is lovely.
Jeanie, Kirkland’s potpourri bothers my allergies. Thank you!
A beautiful round up of Thanksgiving table inspiration Pam! I have a special place in heart for Harvest Time by Johnson Brothers. ♥
Thank you, Mary♥️
Pam, I think I just had heart palpitations when you said 3 weeks! So many wonderful inspirations! I especially loved the copper mugs and the charcuterie board. Today is raining with a high of 47 and Monday it will be 70 again. Life in the South, right?!?

Fruits and flowers, veggies and antlers, cloth and glass, silver and candlelight. Tablescapes know no limits, do they! You sure know how to dress things up, girl!
Thank you, Linda. It is fun!
Your Harvest table has to be one of my all time favorites and I am repeating it this year…heavy on the pomegranates… the
season just lends itself so effortlessly to such a harvest bounty. You always create such a balanced and welcoming setting,
Pam dear, and the runner of vegetation and complementary appointments just sing Thanksgiving. With blessings of Family circling the table, all will be right with the world Have to find me one of those boxes when I get “framed” at Hobby Lobby next
week. Just love those plaid chargers…
Every tablescape is lovely and I don’t think I can pick a favorite one! I like them all!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 😉
