Plates will likely be filled and running over today as family gathers at our house. We are grateful for the opportunity since we could not do so in 2020. Our list of things to be thankful for would be a mile long and truly it should be. But Paul, in a letter to the Corinthians, expressed thanks of a much higher kind because the victory he mentions is a win over our greatest enemy, death. The eternal significance is clear and can only be won through Jesus. This tops our list!

I (Butch) have a terrible tendency to always be in a hurry. I feel I must rush on to the next thing. I am working on changing this behavior. Among the many negative aspects of being in a big hurry is a failure to pause and be thankful.

Thank you, Pam. ❤️ It was. It’s been a transition~the ebbs and flows of life~not having my sons and their families here. Yet, I’m so proud of them and thankful for technology. My Dad will just be 80, he is such an overcomer, Pam. 3 cancers, heart failure, and brain surgery for aneurysms. God is so good to us. I give him all the glory! 💛❤️
