Valentine’s is the perfect opportunity to have a dear friend or two for afternoon tea and sweets!
The Softer Side Of Valentine’s
This table was set for six. It could be for three couples, or perhaps an invitation to singles or widows who might otherwise be alone.
Valentine’s In The Sunshine Cottage
Last year was the first year to decorate the cottage for Valentine’s Day!
A coffee table makes entertaining easy and fuss free. Coffee, conversation, and sweet treats…what’s not to love?
Toile pink Churchill dishware gives a feminine nod to the table! Spray roses were arranged in the toile pitcher for a romantic centerpiece!

Lots Of Love: A Valentine’s Day Tablescape
A beautiful pink cashmere scarf (a gift from a dear reader, Mary) serves as a table runner! The same centerpiece was used for Valentine’s in the Sunshine Cottage.
Reservations For 2 At The Sunshine Cottage was published last Tuesday. This might be my favorite Valentine’s tablescape so far.

What beautiful inspiration in every detail. The pink and red M&Ms would not last long if I were there! My dearest girlfriends and I love to celebrate together, we love each other dearly and have been friends for over 30 years. Perhaps I will host a tea party this year!

Happy February, Pam! I couldn’t wait to “see” you today. God was tugging at me to complete my tasks and get to you. Now I know why. I read your story, God’s glory. Tears were streaming down my face at the miracle of Butch. You see, I’m a miracle, too. And it was through my accident, although nothing as severe as Butch, that God saved me. From that accident came lasting impacts that tried to devastate everything in my life–relationships, my memory, my career…my hope. When I felt I had lost it all HE was there. It’s been a long recovery. I struggle still with short-term memory, processing, and balance. If not for GOD! The two of you are such inspirations to me, Pam. I’m so thankful to God for saving Butch and for the testimony you have here on this side of heaven. The reservations for two is my favorite, too! I love the moss (is it moss?) in between the plates. I have a tiny house now Pam. And you inspire me to want to create a lovely place setting for myself. You and your family are so special! Also, I LOVE the design of your website. Aw, how pretty! I agree about that tablescape in the Sunshine Cottage being a favorite! But all of yours are so beautiful, it would be difficult to choose an all-time favorite. What inspiration and elegance….. just love the “romance” you wrap around your settings… I usually mix pink and red carnations with baby’s breath for the centerpiece and take the theme from there…..with emphasis on light and delicate…

Good morning, dear Pam. I am sorry I am late to this beautiful post. However, I had an early morning eye appointment yesterday and when I came home I couldn’t do anything, due to my eyes being dilated.
