Happy Tuesday sweet friends. We had a lovely weekend with friends from out-of-town coming for a visit. It was a joy to see them after a two and half year absence. Saturday evening RM and I joined our family along with 1600 parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles. etc. for EM’s first ballet recital. She was beautiful and did a great job. I would have never dreamed so many people would attend a recital. Sunday was her kindergarten graduation and we are so proud of her and all the awards she received!

With Memorial Day fast approaching, I rounded-up some red, white, and blue tablescapes. Click the highlighted links to view the original post!
Red White & Blue For Memorial Day
Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer. Red, white, and blue are some of my favorite tablescapes!
“Freedom is one of the deepest and noblest aspirations of the human spirit.”
~Ronald Reagan
Hydrangeas are normally in bloom for Memorial Day and they make a beautiful centerpiece!
Small flags make a wonderful takeaway gift for guests!
Celebrating The Red, White, & Blue
My picnic table next to the woodlands is a shady spot for serving sweet treats like cupcakes…
…and tropical punch!
The quilt was made by my beloved Mother. I would never use it for food, but just as an opportunity to photograph and share with my readers!
A red watering can is perfect for a flower arrangement!
The nautical table square is vintage. Patriotic and nautical works well together!
There is a lot of pattern play on this table, maybe that is why it is a favorite!
I hope you feel inspired to set a patriotic-themed table. We haven’t made our plans for Memorial Day, but I am certain the grill will be fired up and there will be homemade ice cream! Thank you for your visit and gracious comments.
Wishing you a delightful week!

Glad you were able to spend time with friends and attend EM’s recital. Happy Tuesday. ♥

Beautiful red white an blue tables. Hope your Memorial Day is filled with happy memories and a lovely day with family. 1600 to see EM’s recital is just about right! Would have loved being there. This Memorial Day is sad as my husbands brother passed and and he is traveling to go to the funeral. I’m having back and neck surgery on 6/1 and not able to travel. GOD BLESS THE USA🇱🇷
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Alice, I am so sorry about the passing of your husband’s brother. We send our sincere condolences. Dear Alice, I was unaware of your upcoming surgery. That sounds serious. Will you have an extended hospital stay and rehab. You will be in our prayers for a successful surgery and recovery. Please keep us posted. Sending love and hugs ♥️
Alice Genzlinger says
Thank you for your much needed and helpful prayers. I won’t need rehab because my best friend from NC is coming to be with me for 10 days. I am so blessed with the care I’ll get from her, my church and my neighbors. God is good!!!!!!!!!
