Hello sweet friends and happy Thursday. I so hope you have enjoyed a good week, so far. Monday evening was slightly cooler with a nice breeze which gave an opportunity for us to enjoy dinner in the garden! With summers being so hot, it is rare to dine alfresco!
“For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.”
Psalm 92:4
I have always loved the idea and pleasure of afternoon tea! With that in mind, I have rounded up some teatime posts from the archives. Whatever your preference, hot or iced, grab a cup or glass and join me…anytime is time for tea. Be sure to read to the end for a fun announcement!

Good Morning Pam, It’s always a treat to have a virtual seat at your table, especially one in your garden! Tea would be a treat, especially with the flowers blooming in your garden and I adore your pretty butterfly teapot and collection of beautiful April Cornell tablecloths and linens. I especially love your last photo and table of the sunlight filtering in through the foliage of the maple tree. I look forward to having tea with you! Happy Thursday and stay cool. ♥

How fun to have Tea on Tuesdays! The settings are all beautiful and being a sweet tea girl, the hobnail glasses of tea were my favorite. Pam, I will think of you tomorrow…my sister is coming up and we are going for lunch and browsing in Highlands and Cashiers. The high tomorrow will be 77!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
I hope you enjoyed Highlands and Cashiers. I might be a little green with envy. Wow, 77 would feel like a cold front!

What lovely tea settings in the beautiful outdoors Pam. I always enjoy your outside dining. I have been wanting to set up a little table for Marty and I out by the pond and have small meal but it has been so hot that it seems we cook outside but come back in to eat. I am really yearning to have a tea party for my grands outside as well but until something changes with the humidity it is surely not happening. Enjoying looking at all of your beautiful tables. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you, Cindy. The weather has been extremely hot and humid. Hope the tea party for the grands will happen soon with a break in the weather!

I always mean to ask what are the potted blooms next to the apricot drifts in the peonies and tea for two?
I have just the place for them…. probably not as lush as your, but I am still trying.. Thank you for this lovely
parade of your creative table settings. Blessings
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Mary, those are super bells. I love them and they perform well in our heat!

I’m sure Phyllis will have trouble choosing which picture to put in Southern Lady for her next issue. I couldn’t chose. The butterfly tea pot is precious. Do you have a special room set aside to store your many tablecloths, china, and teapots? Thank you for all of this eye candy. I’m looking forward to next months tea party.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Alice, you are so sweet. I store tablecloths in a spare closet. I have lots of storage in the cottage under the counter for dishes. I leave some teapots out at different times to enjoy. Take care dear one!

Thanks for the roundup of such lovely tea settings! Love them all – and, of course, can’t get enough of all your beautiful flowers. I have recently been introduced to macarons by my sweet French-Canadian pastor’s wife. I can see why they are your favorite sweet little bite. They are so, so good. Do you make your own?
Have a blessed and beautiful day!
