Hello sweet friends and happy Thursday. I so hope you have enjoyed a good week, so far. Monday evening was slightly cooler with a nice breeze which gave an opportunity for us to enjoy dinner in the garden! With summers being so hot, it is rare to dine alfresco!

I have always loved the idea and pleasure of afternoon tea! With that in mind, I have rounded up some teatime posts from the archives. Whatever your preference, hot or iced, grab a cup or glass and join me…anytime is time for tea. Be sure to read to the end for a fun announcement!

I am excited to announce a new monthly series, “Tea On Tuesdays”! Mary, Home Is Where The Boat Is, and I will be celebrating all things “tea” on the

How fun to have Tea on Tuesdays! The settings are all beautiful and being a sweet tea girl, the hobnail glasses of tea were my favorite. Pam, I will think of you tomorrow…my sister is coming up and we are going for lunch and browsing in Highlands and Cashiers. The high tomorrow will be 77!

What lovely tea settings in the beautiful outdoors Pam. I always enjoy your outside dining. I have been wanting to set up a little table for Marty and I out by the pond and have small meal but it has been so hot that it seems we cook outside but come back in to eat. I am really yearning to have a tea party for my grands outside as well but until something changes with the humidity it is surely not happening. Enjoying looking at all of your beautiful tables. I’m sure Phyllis will have trouble choosing which picture to put in Southern Lady for her next issue. I couldn’t chose. The butterfly tea pot is precious. Do you have a special room set aside to store your many tablecloths, china, and teapots? Thank you for all of this eye candy. I’m looking forward to next months tea party.
Alice, you are so sweet. I store tablecloths in a spare closet. I have lots of storage in the cottage under the counter for dishes. I leave some teapots out at different times to enjoy. Take care dear one!

I have recently been introduced to macarons by my sweet French-Canadian pastor’s wife. I can see why they are your favorite sweet little bite. They are so, so good. Do you make your own?

I’ve always noticed the presence of macarons in many of your posts. They are the perfect tea time treat! I think all the pretty colors are the first attraction for me. You know how to make a tea setting the most attractive as well as the most delicious! Of course, you always have gorgeous flowers to complete the ambience!!! I love the idea of Tea on Tuesdays!
