Happy Thursday, sweet friends. As you are reading this, RM and I are on our way home after a few days in Highlands, NC. It was a wonderful getaway for my ??th birthday!
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
Colossians 3:16
As the year rushes by, it is only three weeks until we observe Thanksgiving. With that in mind, I rounded up tables from the archives to hopefully inspire you !
Our Thanksgiving table from last year was quite simple using what I have collected over the years with no new purchases!
Cedar placemats and wicker chargers added texture to each place setting.
A leaf embroidered table runner was embellished with pretty gingko leaves from our tree!
A Thankful Thanksgiving table for 2020! A plaid throw placed diagonally added warmth to the cream colored tablecloth! Antler sheds and candle stands flank a floral arrangement placed in an American Atelier soup tureen. You might notice it was also used in the setting above.
I love to use feathers for autumn! As you can see there are feathers in the floral arrangement and feather placemats!!
Vintage Harvest Time by Johnson Brothers was the perfect pattern choice as we celebrated harvest and God’s great provisions!
One of my favorite Thanksgiving centerpieces is a runner of natural elements that ran almost the entire length of the table!
The centerpiece was fun to put together…fruits, vegetables, and autumn flowers were mixed in with feathers, eucalyptus, dried hydrangeas, and gingko leaves!
As we gather together with family each Thanksgiving, we are thankful for God’s gracious gifts He has so richly bestowed! Almost without fail, my Spode “woodland” dinner plates come out for our Thanksgiving meal!
This centerpiece was easy to put together…
…beginning with a wood slice charger, American Atelier pieces were stacked with moss surrounding the perimeters, and ending with a velvet pumpkin on top!
Once again feather placemats and Spode show up for the Thanksgiving season!
Take away flowers make a lovely gift for your guests or can be used to mark each place setting. A place card could be easily placed within the flowers. Grocery store flowers…mums, pom daisies, alstroemeria, and peach roses were placed in julep cups!
“An attitude of gratitude is a never ending prayer.”
~William Arthur Ward
I will be joining seventeen table stylists on Tuesday, November 8, to share Thanksgiving table inspiration and ideas!
Thank you for your visit and gracious comments. Wishing you a joy-filled day!

So many wonderful ideas to borrow for my Thanksgiving table. I especially loved the pumpkin/golden leaf with the apple…perfection. I put together a faux arrangement in a copper pot and just noticed all the feathers are missing; it has the markings of a certain kitten burglar all over it! Safe travels home, my sweet friend.

Thanks so much, Roxanne. That naughty kitty!! We arrived home safely yesterday. Wishing you a lovely November weekend!
