“And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”
Luke 2:10 ESV
The sky never ceases to amaze me. We had several beautiful mornings last week and I was so glad to feel well enough to head out in the cold on this occasion and just hang out in the pasture. I stood and tried to imagine what it would’ve been like to be hanging out in a pasture with sheep and experience what shepherds did, near Bethlehem, one night long ago. Who wouldn’t have been frightened! But then, the good news was proclaimed!
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:11 ESV
“And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.””
Luke 2:12 ESV
“Men had no room then at the Inn, but He found room for them.”

Christmas, where a baby born over 2,000 years ago, and children today, bring joy and fascination to our world. Our hearts are drawn to celebrate God’s remarkable redemption plan, that was from everlasting, but appeared in the flesh as a newborn, wrapped in swaddling cloths. He was Immanuel, God with us.
These 3 love Christmas and are very excited. How blessed we are to have EM, EK, and WL nearby so we get to spend time with them. Grands are such a wonderful gift from heaven. Jesus is the most wonderful gift of all. He left heaven to join us!
“The appearing of the second person of the Trinity as a baby in Bethlehem, the incarnation, is not an idea. It is not a concept. It is an event in space and time”
~ Alistair Begg
I hope you don’t mind a Christmas Eve, Eve sunset! Thank you for joining us on what is probably a very busy Christmas Eve.
Pam and I wish you a peaceful and joyous Christmas!
