Happy Tuesday sweet friends. Easter is a special day for our family! After morning church services, we will gather at our home for a late lunch and an afternoon Easter egg hunt with our three grands. They will be excited to find eggs with surprises tucked inside! But Easter is so much more than bunnies and eggs. Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
“but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (ESV)
I look forward to Tea on Tuesdays when Mary and I share a cuppa with our readers. Springtime draws me outdoors to set a table next to our woodlands!
Today we welcome Shannon from Belle Bleu Interiors as our special guest! Not only is she a sweetheart, but Shannon has a beautiful home that she has designed in her signature French style. You will find Mary’s and Shannon’s links at the bottom of this post!
When I set this tea table last week it was one of those delightful early spring afternoons…seventy degrees…sunny skies…and a light breeze! A Fitz and Floyd ‘Pansy Parade’ bunny pitcher was nestled inside a fluted bowl filled with moss and used as the centerpiece, rather than flowers. I used this same idea here.
A ‘Pansy Parade’ Fitz and Floyd bunny teapot hopped out of the bookcase in the family room and escaped outdoors to the picnic table to join her sister. She was easily convinced to serve a most delightful tea, rose lemonade.
New table linens arrived just in time! As an April Cornell brand ambassador I had chosen ‘Lillianna’, a gorgeous watercolor inspired fiesta presented with soft pinks, signature light periwinkle, and fresh green hues. An ‘Essential’ napkin set in pink was chosen to complement the spring print! As an April Cornell brand ambassador I have a promo code for you! The code is: EVERYDAY15 for $15 off orders of $100+. This offer cannot be combined with other offers or codes. To be totally transparent, I do not make a percentage from any sales.
I am serving a delicious fruit flavored tea infusion from Taylor’s of Harrogate. This sunny celebration is a blend of zingy lemon peel and lemongrass with a posy of ingredients inspired by English country gardens. Two different patterns of teacups were used, this flora and fauna teacup/saucer is by Grace Teaware
I had big plans for a tempting array of sweet and savory tea treats. But as we know, the best laid plans can often go awry! Milk chocolate eggs filled with cocoa cream and cereal were made in Italy. When I saw them recently I purchased them because I liked the different-colored patterned wrappers. I am now having a hard time not eating the entire bag, thankfully the grands are helping me! Yummy blondies were also enjoyed by the grands and me!
Bakery vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing weren’t even noticed by the bunny pair!
As you can see, this is a simple Easter teatime, set next to the woodlands on my picnic table. Setting a table in the garden, the picnic table, or on the Sunshine Cottage porch are my favorites! An outdoor setting has challenges such as insects, dust, pollen, wind, and maybe even a visit from a bird or squirrel! It is worth it however, to be surrounded by God’s magnificent creation. That takes my simple table creation to a new level, and that not of my doing!
A set of four ‘Famille Rose’ bunny salad plates from Williams Sonoma came in two color ways and designs. My two granddaughters are enchanted with these plates.
I decided not to layer the bunny plates with the Famille Rose dinner plates, instead I used the vibrant green majolica dinner plates! The raspberry teacup is also Grace Teaware and is EM’s favorite!
Sweet egg napkin rings were found years ago at Cracker Barrel’s gift shop!

~Butch Richardson
I love the designs of these plates and their Easter colors of pink and green!
RM’s carpet of rye grass makes a spring statement until the heat of summer arrives! Petite vases of lime green snowball flower buds were placed at each end of the table. You can catch a glimpse of the snowball viburnum in the upper right of the photo. The buds will soon turn into a creamy white.
Be sure to visit Mary and Shannon for their charming tea settings!

Good morning Pam, What a beautiful alfresco setting for tea with the vibrant green of the grass! Your viburnum is going to be glorious when your snowballs bloom. Your April Cornell ‘Lillianna’ tablecloth is a beauty and makes a lovely foundation for your table. I love your sweet ‘Famille Rose’ bunny salad plates! I have long admired WS ‘Famille Rose’ pattern, alas, my dish pantry is overflowing. 😊 You’re your ‘Pansy Parade’ Fitz and Floyd bunnies, so sweet perched in the nest of moss and your Rose Lemonade tea sounds like it would be equally delicious served over ice in the summer months too. I’ve had those La Suissa chocolate eggs and can attest to how tempting they are! As always it’s a treat to join you for tea. Wishing you a Happy Easter Week!🐇🐣🌸☕🐰💗

Thank you, Mary! I am sure the rose lemonade tea will be delicious over ice. I will be trying it. The chocolate eggs are habit forming. Happy Easter Week 🐰🌸🩵🌺🐥

Happy Tuesday, Pam. What a “Delightful Easter Tea.” Your new tablecloth goes nicely with the bunny plates and the Fitz and Floyd bunnies. The bunny teapot is darling, sitting next to the other perched up high in the bowl with the moss. I love how you did that.
All your tables, no matter where they are set, are always inspirational and stunning.
Happy Tuesday to you and have a lovely Easter!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
I enjoy the non-eating bunnies🐰 Thank you, Nancy and Easter blessings!

Good morning, Pam! I am always happy to see your outdoor settings, whether it be teatime, tablescape or on the subject of gardens or Sundays! What a beautiful new tablecloth from April Cornell! Your mix of pink and green in the plate stacks, teacups and napkins really are showy and so pretty. The snowball viburnum in their early bud stage are perfect too. Your bunny salads are so pretty, and I can see why the girls are enchanted with them! The tea you’ve chosen sounds like it would be good iced also. Two things for me on this tablescape stood out in a lesser way – those crispy eggs are also irresistible to me as well (I’ve consumed almost the entire bag with NO help, while Mr. P. has eaten at least 4 bags of jelly beans, lol). and secondly, I just realized I have a set of Easter egg napkin rings I got from an estate sale, so I bet the owner also got hers from Cracker Barrel. I forgot about them! I should pull them out this weekend for J, but at the rate we’re going, there’ll be no candy left, lol. Tell me, what treats do you put in the hidden eggs that won’t melt? Mimi needs ideas! Hapoy Easter to you!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Rita, how interesting you have a set of Easter egg napkin rings. That particular year, thinking it was 2004, Cracker Barrel offered a really cute Easter assortment of tabletop accessories!
We try to look for things that won’t melt. We usually hide the eggs only an hour or so before they make a wild dash to find them. Butch found 3 eggs when he pruned recently that were left from last Easter with the candy still inside. The girls are easy because they love to find money, I always have little travel vials of perfume, play earrings, any tiny trinkets I might find. I find little hair clips at TJ Maxx, etc! The candy is normally eaten before it has time to melt. Hopefully that helps!
Rita C at Panoply says
That does help, thank you! I need to get to Dollar Tree and/or Claire’s! Btw, did you see where DT is raising prices again? $1.50, and the higher priced items have gone from $5 to $7.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Every time I grocery shop or any other shopping, prices have risen, some beyond belief!

Good morning, Pam! It is such a delight to visit your lovely Easter tea set outdoors. The Fitz and Floyd pair of bunny teapots make adorable centerpieces along with your green snowball blooms. I love how you placed one of the teapots in a pedestal dish surrounded by moss. I may borrow your idea for one of my Easter table centerpieces. Your new April Cornell tablecloth is so pretty and perfect for both spring and summer tables. Thanks for sharing the savings code. There are a few things that I am eyeing. The Famille rose plates look wonderful placed on top of the green majolica plates. The tea you are serving sounds delicious and the sweet treats look scrumptious. Thank you so much for inviting me to join Mary and you for tea. It is always such a delight! Wishing you a most blessed and happy Easter, dear friend!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you, Shannon. I am always excited for you to join us for TOT or MMB’s. Easter blessings, sweet friend!

The WS Famille Rose bunny plates are adorable, I can see why the girls are taken by them. I love the raspberry tea cup and the bright pink napkins in those cute egg napkin rings. Pam, you know I love having tea in your garden with the view of the woodlands. Have to say, you had me searching for the F&F bunny teapots. What cuties! Everything looks delicious and Yes, the Rose Lemonade tea sounds delightful! I had friends for lunch yesterday, and one friend was mixing orange juice with her tea. New flavor!
Happy Easter to you and your precious family!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Sarah, thank you so much. I checked on Replacements yesterday and they did not have the teapot or pitcher. I think they were issued in 1991! I do think the rose lemonade tea will be perfect poured over ice! How sweet to have friends over for lunch! You are a lovely hostess, my friend!
Roxanne Bernard says
So many sweet, happy bunnies! It is a hard to pick a favorite element out of so many pretty things. I truly love Butch’s quote for today. We are at Mother Nature’s whimsy here…I am hauling my over wintered geraniums and dragon wing begonia in and out of the garage bc one day it is freezing and the next day it is 70. If I were at your tea table, those blondies would be in serious trouble!
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you, Roxanne! The blondies are gone. The girls and I polished them off. I may have to buy more. It has poured rain since midnight and has finally stopped! Have a wonderful afternoon, dear friend!

Thank you, Nancy! It rained here until after lunch! Easter blessings!

Pam,
This morning you were the first post I visited. I had to come to my PC to comment tonight. I just had to share how much joy you bring into my life and so many others! Everything looks so gorgeous! The bunnies, the tablecloth, napkins (I love the raspberry teacup too!), the Woodland setting with the backdrop that will soon be even greener! Butch’s quote melted my heart! Amen! I loved the chocolate wrapper designs, too, Pam! Blondies! Yes! There is something about those new Familie Plates that tug at my heart–and the green “charge” behind them is perfect! You make life prettier and more colorful! You are all inspiring me to want to buy my place settings–even if just for one! God bless you both. I love you and appreciate you for so many reasons! He LIVES! Because He Lives, I can face tomorrow, because he lives, all fear is gone…because I know who holds the future, and life is worth the living, just because he lives! 💗❣️🙏🎶🐇

Pam, Your alfresco table is beautiful and has a gorgeous view! Your new table linens are exquisite! AC never disappoints! The egg napkin rings are adorable. Cracker Barrel used to have so many cute things. We don’t visit as often as we used to and I really don’t know about now, but have found a few cute things along the way. Your salad plates are lovely and are a nice complement to your other WS plates in that same pattern. You have a nice Famille Rose set and since they are so versatile, they can be mixed and matched with so many other patterns. I love those with your green plates. Your F&F bunnies are a favorite. It’s a beautiful tea table! Enjoy your evening. Clara❤️
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you, Clara. I believe the year was 2004 when Cracker Barrel had the cutest Easter decor. I bought several things that spring. Like you all, we rarely go now. Wishing you a blessed Easter week❤️
Alice Genzlinger says
The Famille Rose plates are adorable and had I seen them they would have hopped in my cart. And the tea cups are just the right colors for me to sip and sip and sip the tea from Taylor’s of Harrogate. I’ve also had to make myself not eat the candies I have as decoration on the Spring table setting. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Pam @ Everyday Living says
Thank you, Alice. As I pass by the dining room table, I stop and pick up a chocolate. It is my pleasure to share, my friend!

I’m pretty much crazy about those bunny plates, just like your granddaughters, Pam! Your outdoor setting just makes my heart happy to see the bright green grass and your viburnum in the corner. Your tea flavor sounds so good and looks so pretty in the cups. My heart went pitter patter over your Fitz and Floyd bunny pieces. I’d love a treat or two before I leave. Happy Easter to you and your family.

Ah, this is lovely Pam! I love all the wonderful spring colors here – pinks and greens are always favorites for a tea table and for Easter too. I can see why your grandgirls are so taken with the Famille Rose bunny plates as I am too. The bright pink napkins with the cute egg napkin rings add a wonderful pop to the table and the new AC tablecloth is gorgeous. Butch’s rye grass in the background adds such a lovely touch. Your treats are so tempting and I bet that rose lemonade tea would be very tasty as iced tea too. The F&F bunny teapot is darling. Those snowball viburnum will be absolutely glorious when they bloom. I’m wishing you and your family a very joyous Easter!
