Hello friends! I hope you are having a great week and staying cool!
“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”
Psalm 103:8 ESV
In spite of the lingering summer heat, I’ve located floral centerpieces from previous posts that are still holding out well, showing no signs of wilting!

For a picnic in the country, a Ball jar is filled with a colorful mix of zinnias, roses, alstroemeria, mini carnations, lantana, stock, and one happy sunflower! A few precious memories were shared in this post!
Garden flowers from my two favorite flower farms are placed on a cute butterfly chair! Hydrangeas, snapdragons, buplureum, winter honeysuckle, and a single peony highlighted a tea table!
Sunflowers and zinnias are magnets for our bee friends. A simple arrangement includes immature vanilla strawberry hydrangeas.
Limelight and Vanilla/Strawberry hydrangeas make for an easy arrangement, actually there is no arranging necessary. A few sprigs of wildflowers add a touch of color!
A sentimental crock is filled with the bounty of late summer blooms…sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, gomphrena, celosia, lantana, and hosta! This summery arrangement was on a table to welcome fall!
A centerpiece does not have to be overthought (note to self)! Limelights cut from my garden make a sweet but simple arrangement for a summer table!
A beautiful Italian urn elevates crepe myrtle blooms and deep blue and purple French hydrangeas.
Nikko and Annabelle hydrangeas with a pop of red Crocosmia are perfect anytime, but especially for a patriotic garden table!
Late summer flowers and an embroidered tablecloth that I found on the island of Rhodes, Greece adorn our humble picnic table next to the woodlands!
A variety of hydrangeas…Snowflake, Invincibelle Spirit, Let’s Dance Moonlight, French, and Annabelle…add to the beauty of my Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt!
An English garden style flower arrangement in a floral watering can is perfectly at home on the Sunshine Cottage porch!
A patriotic tea in the garden with an arrangement of Snowflake, Annabelle and Nikko hydrangeas, and a sprinkling of red carnations are accented by the beautiful April Cornell ‘Everlasting’ floral tablecloth!
An arrangement of Busy Bee sunflowers, colorful zinnias, limelight hydrangeas, all cut from my garden, are placed in a stoneware crock on a seersucker tablecloth! The combination speaks of summer in the South!
Lost in reverie is a sentimental tablesetting with hydrangeas on a floral AC cloth! The arrangement doesn’t require any skills.
A sunflower symphony with summer snapdragons (angelonia) stands proud in a bright red watering can against a backdrop of our sunflowers!
Thank you so much for your visit and I hope it was enjoyable! Wishing you a delightful day!

Each one more beautiful than the next! Thank you for sharing your beautiful arrangements and gardens.
Thanks so much, Elizabeth!
“Precious memories, how they linger, how they ever flood my soul; in the stillness of the midnight, precious sacred scenes unfold”. I see many things that I recall, that Ball jar arrangement is a favorite, the Italian urn, your granny’s quilt, and the English garden arrangement are favorites. Thanks for the memories Pam.
Thank you, Alice and for quoting that old hymn!
Great recap! I can’t wait to start picking some zinnias!! We parked in the deep shade yesterday for an appointment, and the truck thermometer read 102 at 4 pm! Praying for some rain.
Thank you, Roxanne. We have had a little mist this morning, not enough to wet the patio! Stay cool and drink lots of sweet tea!
They are all so beautiful Pam, but I think my favorite is the one with the pink, blue, and purple hydrangeas, gorgeous! I hope you got some rain last night and this morning, we’ve had showers on and off, yay!
Thank you, Jenna! I also love the beautiful color of the hydrangeas. We didn’t receive any rain last night and misting rain this morning! Thankful for what we did receive!
It jogged some pleasant memories to see the tablecloth from Rhodes! That island had the best shopping of any spot we encountered on our travels.
JoAnn, I agree that the shopping in Rhodes was fabulous!
Gorgeous floral arrangements in beautiful containers. We have an Italian urn similar to yours that we bought years ago from an estate sale. Enjoy your day! Clara❤️
Thank you, Clara! I just know your urn is fabulous! Happy Thursday afternoon ❤️
Absolutely gorgeous! Breathtaking! Thank you for sharing, my dear friend.
My pleasure and thank you, Maristella!
Good Afternoon Pam, I can’t pick a favorite. Each and every centerpiece is gorgeous! I remember many of these posts. Such lovliness!
Thank you for sharing this breathtaking round up!
Thanks so much for stopping by, Nancy! Some of these I had forgotten 😉
A beautiful round up Pam! I can’t choose a favorite but am partial to those with those cheery sunflowers, especially your late summer flowers arrangement. 🌻
We had some misting rain this morning, no measurable rainfall but at least the cloudcover gave a little escape from the sun. Fingers crossed for rain from some pop-up thunderstorms this weekend. Hope you have the same, stay cool! 💗
Thank you, Mary. I am always partial to sunflowers. We had a good shower this afternoon. Hopefully more to come. Enjoy your evening 🩷
Oh Pam love the containers and love the beautiful flowers. Ahhhhhh…… I think I am going to go to the grocery store and get some beautiful flowers to put in a vase on my table. You inspired me. Hugs. Kris
Thanks so much, Kris. Enjoy your flowers and Happy Weekend 🩷
What comes out of your garden is amazing. Beautiful arrangements.
Thank you, Carole!
Each one unique, yet so impressive in total…. what an array of Summer loveliness…
The Rhodes urn arrangement is particularly eye-catching. We also had much-needed
rain yesterday and so happy you received it, as well… This is quite a heatwave and quite
widespread, so we can all commiserate about it among ourselves….if that helps…. A
wonderful weekend to everyone… keep cool.
Mary, your comments are always encouraging. Thank you so much! Stay inside and don’t brave the heat unless it is absolutely necessary!
I don’t think anyone does centerpieces better than you– and boy, you have the garden to max them out. Amazing, each and every one, Pam. I can visualize you — picking, choosing. The right flowers, the right vessel. It makes me smile.
Jeanie, your comments are so sweet and encouraging, my friend! Thank you!
Love them all…using your suggestions…hope mine look as beautiful as yours. thank you my friend
Thank you, Kari!
Pam, I needed some floral therapy this morning! This post is a feast for the eyes. Your floral arrangements are gorgeous. You are truly a talented floral designer. These all belong in a beautiful book. Sorry, I am so late commenting on this week’s posts. We have been on our trip to Old Edwards. I’m so happy that you did a post on this inn. It is our favorite place to visit. The area is so pretty and the 80 degree temps were a relief. Can you believe the people there were griping about the heat? I told them I came from triple digits, and this was a delight. I’m looking forward to your MMB post tomorrow. Have a wonderful Sunday, my dear friend!
Fantastic floral arrangements! I would love to have a “cutting garden” like you have!
Thanks so much, Jeanne. It is so nice to walk out and snip blooms for an arrangement!
Such a beautiful array of so much talent and grace! I thoroughly enjoyed it! God bless you!
I am so happy you enjoyed, Cheryl’
